Opened in 1949, the Kenosha Drive-In Theatre was one of the oldest remaining drive in theaters in the US. Recent local news has revealed that the drive-in will close its doors for good in 2015.
We made this video to give you a new perspective of this historical landmark.

The drone really puts it in perspective.
I live by that theatre, I see it almost everyday.
grew up in racine, and enjoyed a few dates at this drive in...
RIP the kenosha drive-in theatre :(
The screen that was built could've turned it into a rear-projection screen with all that room inside.

I'm sorry that your drive in had to close. :(
Growing up in Aurora, IL,we at one point had two drive-ins. Brought back some great memories. Nicely done Adam.
Nesse momento do covid-19 seria ótimo reabrir esse drive-in. Cine drive-in in é o ideal hoje em dia, época de quarentena.
I'm still a teen but I have memories of going there a few times with my cousins when I was little, sucks they tore it down now I pass it everyday and get a lil pissed off to be honest. It's been what 3 yrs now and they didn't even put anything there, just flattened it.

Hey, i can see my house from here!
Nice video Adam, thanks for sharing.
I drive by this theatre almost every single day and have seen movies here. There are many mixed emotions right now in Kenosha and the surrounding area. We will miss all the good family times, and now the closest drive-in is 40 miles away. Sad.
I have never seen a movie there, and I never will. We love you, Memory Maker. Goodbye, Forever.
Thank you for the memories! I will be sad because my children only got to enjoy the experience for a few years! It is a loss.
some of the best times of my life in the 70,s drive inn
How in this country can we not see that these places are our culture and should be kept going and preserved.missed opportunity right there.i see money.especially now.
Its sad when a historical place like that shuts down! Hated it when one in my town closed. VERY Cool video shots! Drones can give you the Best views. What drone is that you used? Thanks for sharing that with us!!
I remember this place I actually saw a movie there
Very good work, strange as it seems. If it was to open for the starwars movie it could return. We just dont have them in the UK
sad😢
