YOYODUDE101 hahaha yeah it was super fun. Instead of retarded climbs like Cholla we got to jump in an air conditioned shuttle to TOW. What else can you ask for?
FatBoy Cheto thanks bro, yeah these trails are super fun. Aliso Woods is great place to ride. There are tons of trails, everything from beginner stuff all the way to gnar gnar.
Peter thanks brotha, trust me I was a lot slower when I started 4 yrs ago, just keep pushing yourself and ride with better riders who will push you to keep up. All the guys I ride with I met on the trails. All the guys that I used to ride with quit or don't want to push themselves.
Peter Webb canyon is super fun trail. It is not a beginner trail by any means. Action cameras can't capture how steep or gnarly trails are. Go out there and take a few warm up laps before you go ham.
Tommy Huynh you're scaring me now. Lol. I'm planning to take it at my comfort speed and skip the jumps. I've seen a few videos hopefully I can remember those conditions when the time comes. Thanks for the replies. Keep up the cool vids.
Dude this looks so fun! Finally got a DVO shock for my 275C! Decided to go Jade with a titanium coil, the feel is unbelievable! Insane what you can just smash through and not feel anything. The jade gives zero f*cks about rock-it haha
Paul Brenneman hell yeah! I'm glad you got it. The Jade is an amazing shock. I have it on my 951 and I also had it on my Uzzi. The small bump compliance is insane and it just eats rock gardens.
MtbFiend 5 Oaks and Bong Drop can not be shuttled. Normally when we shuttle we only shuttle Telonics and Silver Surfer over and over. The rest of the trails end in different places of the Park which requires long climbs out for shuttling. We shuttled a bunch of trails because some of the guys drove out from far and wanted to hit a bunch of different trails. This was a private shuttle so we just all pitched in for gas and the driver.
you guys are nuts! hope to ride like this one day. only been riding since june and cant even stick a damn bunny hop on a piece of post it if my life depended on it. my ride life is pathetic :(sick intense btw
Nice vid bro, I’m from east coast and I’m going out there in November, I’ve never been out there and Would like to hook up and do some runs with you guys. Looks fun!
Yeah that was a friend, there's no shuttle service there. The rangers are giving tickets to anyone riding Telonics now so ride at your own risk. I haven't been back for a long time.
Haitham Bell Telonics is way steeper and more technical than 5 Oaks. I'm sure you heard it a million times, the GoPro can never capture how gnarly a trail really is in real life.
I would say if you are able to get down 5 Oaks in less than 2 min and you are hucking the first rock roller instead of rolling it you are ready. I have seen too many people try to ride Telonics when they weren't ready and they start walking the waterfalls, which is very dangerous for the guys who are riding down behind them and cant stop in time. Most of the trail is full of blind corners and super steep so braking for someone hiking their bike is really hard.
@@TommyHuynh yeah, i worded it weird. Have you rode any of the Ladera Ranch/Oneil Regional Park trails. Super flowy, fast, and fun! You got to go ride them!
@@adamyuhas3283 yeah I rode Ladera Ranch when I first started riding a few years ago. It's pretty flowy but too many hikers and mountain bikers to be going too fast there.
Tommy Huynh aw you got to go back. Not as many hikers at all anymore, havent seen any in couple of months, and they have opened so many new trails all the riders are diverse. If your every going out ill show you around!
@@adamyuhas3283 I don't want to sound like a douchebag but it's just not my cup of tea. I only get to ride once or twice a week so I prefer trails that are more gnarly.
That thumbnail though......I love it!
Seems like it was a great day for a ride.
YOYODUDE101 hahaha yeah it was super fun. Instead of retarded climbs like Cholla we got to jump in an air conditioned shuttle to TOW. What else can you ask for?
Bad ass ride Tommy, definitely putting some of these trails on my list next time I am out in Cali.
FatBoy Cheto thanks bro, yeah these trails are super fun. Aliso Woods is great place to ride. There are tons of trails, everything from beginner stuff all the way to gnar gnar.
Fuk-n epic. Sweet video.. the speed just amazes me and some of the drops too. Inspired. But I gotta take baby steps

Tommy Huynh great advice. I do ride with better riders which does help. I'm in San Dimas so I'll have to master Webb canyon looks less intimidating.

hahaha, I dont want to scare you, just want you to be aware. If you skip the jumps than the trails are not bad at all.

Siiickkkk! Want to hit these so bad! How much does it range for a shuttle? And for how long?

Sick dude!! U got a great group of riders😀 keep on sending!🤙🤘
Evan Smith MTB thanks brotha

Adventure Mafia hahaha as long as you're having fun that's all that matters. Keep at you will be mashing in no time.

mikeychapps hit me up as we get closer, if I'm in town I can guide you, if not I should be able to get someone you can ride with
Nice video dude! Thanks for sharing. I got my fair share of camera time :)
hahaha for sure David, you killed it! Thanks for bringing the shuttle. Lets do it again soon.
New camera? Looks way better
Straight No Braker yeah I got the Sony Action Cam a few weeks ago. The image stabilizer is amazing.
Is the shuttle driver your friend or they shuttle bikers from the end of telonics to the top?
Yeah that was a friend, there's no shuttle service there. The rangers are giving tickets to anyone riding Telonics now so ride at your own risk. I haven't been back for a long time.
Tommy Huynh oh that sucks. Why are they?
@@curetonbenares9236 it's always been illegal but they are now cracking down
Yo , holler at me next time you do local. Looks mad fun
you gotta hit me up, I got too much going on.
Tommy Huynh cool will do
Good jobs bros!!! Cheers!! 🍻🍻
Nuke Acorn thanks bro
Absolutely....GOOD TIMES!! No bloopers....lol!!
TJ Tran it was definitely an epic day of riding. yeah surprisingly I didn't crash. Lol
No crashes, that's a blessing for you & your family :)
TJ Tran hahaha my wife is smart she got a huge life insurance policy on me. Lol
I know someone with the same name at usc RT on night shift is that u?
lol no that's not me.
This is badass!
Ryan Sinclair thanks bro
Ya'll ever come down to San Diego??
Ryan Sinclair no I haven't gone down there to ride. Are there any gnar DH spots that can be shuttled?
Tommy Huynh there are some pretty good spots, I've never shuttled to the top though
Do you think someone could run a legit shuttle service in Laguna?
Anyone can run a shuttle service but not sure it will be "legit" lol too much red tape in California
Luvin' it!!!
thanks brotha
Is telonics relatable to 5 oaks.
Haitham Bell Telonics is way steeper and more technical than 5 Oaks. I'm sure you heard it a million times, the GoPro can never capture how gnarly a trail really is in real life.
Tommy Huynh ok. Thanks. I'll get more comfortable on 5 oaks and the other trails before I do telonics
I would say if you are able to get down 5 Oaks in less than 2 min and you are hucking the first rock roller instead of rolling it you are ready. Tommy Huynh ok thanks
All that riding, and all you have to offer is “Lite Beer?”.... I guess it’s better than nothing.
hahaha I personally don't even like beer, when I drink and ride its going to be Go Juice which is 50% vodka and 50% of any juice.
Tommy Huynh WO FreakinW.... That’s a lethal mix, I don’t mix that strong for my Step Mom, Ouch!
Jeffry Riley Lmao! Yeah it's not the smartest thing but it helps take the edge off and gives me bigger balls.
So sad some of these trails are illegal now
They have always been "illegal" but never enforced until recently.

Definitely sounds like a Hope hub :D
actually I run I9 hubs on my Tracer. They are louder than Hopes. I run Hope Pro 4's on my DH bike.
I see. I always ran CK stuff on my rigs. Front, back, headset...no BBs from CK yet which is a fail.
