I danced in LA's street dance culture for about 25 years. Soft sole hoofer I bust without tap shoes. In the 80's, 90's and much of the 2000's there was so much going on as far as Real: hip hop, house/deep house, all levels of real techno, no EDM crap, and world music. So many incredible underground spots to hit up in one night. I live in Ventura County, I would work 5 to 6 days a week and be in LA dancing 3 to 4 nights a week. There was so much incredible shit going on. LA expired as far as dope spots to go to in 2010. Can't find not one spot that plays real deep house (118-123 bpm max). Hipster who don't dance and have a stagnant vibe have took over, lame.
