Incredible facts about Peru, make it the most beautiful and incredible country in Latin America 🌎! - Peru is literally the mother of the Amazon, if you saw the iconic movie ANACONDA, you know that that movie was filmed in Peru, this country is the origin of the most important river in the world, if the Peruvian territory did not exist, the Amazon and much of the biodiversity of the World! - Origin of potatoes! Thanks to the Peruvian territory, everyone eats potatoes for lunch. Potatoes are of Peruvian origin and were domesticated by the Incas and were then taken by the Spanish to Europe and the entire world. Peruvian dishes with potatoes are thousands and very delicious. . -The third largest waterfall in the world is in Peru, it is called "The Three Sisters" and is more than 900 meters high! - the largest dune in the world is in Peru in "Cerro Blanco" with more than 2,000 meters high! Peru also has the only real oasis in the Americas "La Huachahina" in that same desert are the world famous Nazca lines! - The largest canyon in the Americas! In the Peruvian Andes is the largest canyon on the continent and second in the world, the "Aprimac Canyon" with almost 5,000 meters deep, triple the size of the Grand Canyon in the United States. - The most beautiful mountains, Peru has many unique rainbow mountains in the world, the snowy Alpamayo is incredible! - The only boiling river on earth, in the Amazon there is a river where you can parboil everything, this river is unique! This country is absolutely amazing! my favorite country in the whole world.

As a Peruvian, I am amazed by the amount of detail you put into this video. I am curious to know how your approached to researching these topics is. Congrats 🎉
Dear sir, It is an impressive video, and you do relatively well with rather difficult names/words to pronounce. However, Lima, the capital, is probably one of the easiest words to pronounce and you murdered the pronunciation for it. It is not Lima, like the citrus, but Lee-ma. If you were there, you should know.
Thank you! I didn't realize how much I didn't know about Peru, and so many cool interesting tidbits!!! Thank you for the limited music, excellent video production. ❤
This is a very informative but also entertaining video! Wish our goverment was as good to protect every part of this beautiful country, even people and places. Salute from peru!
Impressive! Excellently done. Now I understand why you mentioned spending months on research for it. It's amusing to see people in the comments calling you AI (too good to be true!).😂
It's interesting that in Peru, the desert is on the coast and the rain forest is inland on the east side of the mountains. It's the opposite in the Pacific Northwest, where the rain forest is along the coast, and the Cascade range acts as a rain shadow blocking moisture from the Pacific, creating arid conditions on the inland, eastern side of the mountain range.
Great video. I learned a lot from this. Since rivers always flows down I think it makes more sense to make the source of a river the highest point or the longest point, the biggest discharge does not make sense to me as a definition. Longest river should be considered in the length of a river, but highest point of a river as the source of it, though really most rivers like the Amazon has many sources.
Great movie, concerning the Arteson mountain picture here in this video, I would like to suggest to see this mountain from Santa Cruz valley, then you can have the same shape as the one shown on the Paramount pictures
Man mispronounced Lima multiple times and then plugged his sponsor where he learned Spanish. That's awkward... Otherwise, great video. I hope to visit Peru one day.
Get the Chinese to build a water diversion scheme to tap the huge Amazonian water supply for the Peruvian West Coast. A bit of pumping, intermediate storage lakes and long base tunnels will be needed to transfer the water through the mountains. Nothing the Peruvian with the help of the Chinese couldn't build. With today's technology and the knowledge of how to build megaprojects this diversion scheme could be build in decade. Turning the Peruvian West Coast into a fertile land.
Great video, just a reminder, which you should know since you been here, Lima is pronounced "leema" not laima lol ... Not sure if you were using and app to narrate or if that was your actual voice. Anyway, other than that, cheers for this awesome work. Saludos.
Fact Check: The Andean condor is not the world's largest bird by either wingspan or weight: The Snowy albatross and Great White Pelican have larger wingspans and Kori Bustard is the heaviest bird capable of flight. And then there is always the Ostrich weighing in at 100 kg or more.
It pisses me off when they also pronounce llama like this (llama) the name is in Spanish and when you see 2 L's together in Spanish it is pronounced like "Y" or "J", I mean we have to adapt to your language rules like using the I as a capital letter just because.
Babbel didn’t teach you how to properly pronounce the name of the capital of Peru? Or to recognized that the letter in Lima would not be pronounced like that? Interesting.
About coast there are two types os seas thta humbold sea which is cold but also a warm seain the north of the country close to Ecuador but this is not like the regular warm-hotbsea, it is like warm bexause it is the place where the cold and warm sea clash and mix, special sea really different to the rest of the coast of Peru but also different yo others countries like Ecuador
How deserted, flat, boring and unaesthetic the Peruvian coasts are. I think they should have shown the small coastal ravine of Lima (Barranco de Miraflores) located in the richest and upper class neighborhoods of all Peru, where they invest large economic resources and efforts to plant ornamental vegetation... although this is "false" in a certain way, because on the coasts of Lima, and in general of Peru, vegetation does not grow naturally because they are desert with an arid desert climate. It never rains in Lima, being the most desert capital in the world after Cairo, Egypt.
Barranco is not the richest nor upper class, Barranco and Miraflores are also separate districts neither which is upper class, miraflores is middle class with tourist areas, san isidro has more upper class areas. The richest part of Peru is definitely Casuarinas though.
Having been to Perú a dozen times, I was disheartened to hear Lima mispronounced many times! I have been to Rainbow Mountain and the real colors are nothing like the gaudy colors that you show. On the whole, a good post. Needs some cleaning up, though.
