It's so good that it traumatized me as a kid. But even after that, The Shining is the only movie that had me looking for more horror movies and like it.

Hell! Yes! This might be my favorite type of SCP, the kind that seems only bizarre and silly but have a real underlying fridge horror element the longer you think about it. It took me a long time to find, but the Tale in the second half of this video is called Tension And Release. The inclusion of that story is what turned this from a decent video into a really good one!

The scariest part of any horror movie, novel, or game is the build up and suspense rather than the actual payoff. If 2006 knows that, he's going to continue to build suspense forever, because once he releases the tension the fear factor will eventually end. He learned of the fear of the unknown, and now he is harnessing it by keeping the entire facility on the edge of their seat, not knowing what's going to happen next. 2006 not doing anything, is the scariest possible thing he can do.

It took me a long time to find, but the Tale in the second half of this video is called Tension And Release.
The inclusion of that story is what turned this from a decent video into a really good one!

The scariest part of any horror movie, novel, or game is the build up and suspense rather than the actual payoff. If 2006 knows that, he's going to continue to build suspense forever, because once he releases the tension the fear factor will eventually end. He learned of the fear of the unknown, and now he is harnessing it by keeping the entire facility on the edge of their seat, not knowing what's going to happen next.
2006 not doing anything, is the scariest possible thing he can do.
