@@Storm6r A 600 is a 600. If you want more power, just get a 1000.It should not be too expensive to trade up to a zx 10. Or a Ninja 100 if you prefer more comfort. Heck, even a zh2 or something. Nice review.
I have graves velocity stacks, DNA air filter, full M4 exhaust, and the max HP I got was 126 HP. Got it tuned by Christ Moore. So 128 is a stretch buddy.
the quick shifter is fucking butter on it idk if its aftermarket but it felt buttery smooth. not your bike but another one. i honestly prefer it a little jerky just so i can feel it engage the gear, like robbys mt09sp and the other zx6r has no feel, like at all. same with the triumph i test rode. maybe a tune would fix that, like 2 wheel dynoworks do custom ignition cuts for every gear or whatever, or they modify it but idk. a tune just helps it run better, like it snot always about power if that makes sense. its for your overall engine health, like changes sometimes have to be made, especially with an exhaust or a slip on
I have the 24’ ZX6 same color as yours I love the bike very much The only prob I have is like you said the quick shifter It only acts up when going from first into second gear sometimes not every time I don’t understand why. Other than that I love the bike. Got mine tuned by Moore Mafia
My quick shifter .. Just some days feels like it rides the short bus.. But then other days it's like AP calculus and works amazing! And you definitely need a better windscreen !
Ive rode in all types of weather on my Zx6r, and let me just tell you i have been wanting to change my windscreen for a while and I found one that is super tall and I want it. It is so uncomfortable for me to tuck and be able to see through the windscreen at all.
I don’t understand how people put so many miles on their bikes, I’ve owned 4 different motorcycles and I think ive put about 3,000 miles on all 4 bikes combined over the course of 9 years. I need to get out and ride more lol
@@hunterhightower8977 my son has a gsxr600 he bought it last year used with 7300 miles on it. He now has 22500 we just took it in to have it serviced and a new clutch. I bought a ZX6R in April of 2023 I have 8500 miles on mine but also I am 53 years old my son is 20 . He love to ride
I have a 23 ZX6R and it’s tuned from 2WDW and I love it quick shifts are smooth. I would definitely recommend the bike . Don’t need a liter bike when this zx6r is a track weapon. I have all the goodie’s on it header slip on, velocity stacks. One thing I would definitely recommend is the steering stabilizer its a must. Shit it and ride safe everyone. I am also 53 years old son rides 2019 gixxer 600..
Did you ever have a cat-delete done on your bike? If so, you'll need to flash it and get it tuned. If you still have your cat, you should get someone else to check it because mine is buttery smooth with no jerking at all
My 2015 FZ09 was flashed by VCyclenut and hes local to us, I believe hes in Whatcom county. I had a full Akro exhaust and an air filter box mod. I think it made 115 or 117 hp and it definitely moved my fat ass (260lbs) around I-5, 512 and 167 when I would rip around on it.
ZX-6R meant to be tuned and modify. By factory the ECU map is 💩. The throttle is twitchy. Swab full system exhaust and get it tune. I don’t care what other ppl say and get shit full of mix feeling.
You are right about the quick shifter. It is shit bro. They cheaped out with the lack of ride by wire when the bike got refreshed in 2024. Which is a damn shame to me.
i am currently trying to decide between this bike or the 25 gsxr 750 ik this bike has more tech and and tft dash but man that analog on the gsxr looks great to me, did not know you came from a older one, what do you think personally, Is the gsxr worth another 1500 for the extra power?, i personally like the gsxrs dash better. i might be baised tho bc a gsxr750 is my dream bike. buuuuut the zx6r could be a better bike to get as my second bike
If money wasn't the problem it would be the 2021 CBR1000RRR-SP buttttt....realistically. My next bike will probably be the new gen zx10r or the gen before this recent zx10r so I believe thats the 2020 and previous
128 HP and 50 lbft with velocity stack and tuned from 2wheelsynoworks, Do it!
I want to go there but I’ve heard mixed reviews about them. Heard some really REALLY good stuff and then heard some not so good stuff

Great video, great review. Im wanting to add a zx6r to my stable for a while. Now im sold, since I will be modding and flashing to run better. 👍👍👍👍👍

750
If I had the option to pick again between the 2 bikes. I would’ve went back to the Gsxr750
I know you’ve mention this before in previous videos but things could have changed….what would be your next bike?

Are the aftermarket exhausts for the 24 compatible with the 25 yr model?
It should be. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be compatible. I believe they didn’t really change much
@Storm6r Thanks homie.
What about accelerating it...Jerky??
