Hola Imran, al igual que tu soy docente pero universitaria, y sè que cuando estamos frente a los estudiantes nos olvidamos de todos los problemas, es como si entraramos en otro mundo. Viendo tus videos he notado que eres muy sensible y eso te afecta mucho. Debes intentar no pensar en eso que te afecta si no lo puedes resolver por que te haces daño, cuando se presenten estos pensamientos negativos, identificalos y hazlos a un lado, no es que los olvides, pero cambialos por pensamientos como por ejemplo: ¿que hacer para mejorar mi calidad de vida?, ¿que hacer para energizar mi clase y darles pequeñas satisfacciones y mejores aprendizajes a mis estudiantes?. Lo digo por experiencia propia, debemos aprender a desactivar los pensamientos tristes y negativos y reemplazarlos por aquellos que nos traen salud y un poco de tranquilidad. It is up to your generation to change things. The older generation is too set in their ways. Marry for love. Educate your children. Give them opportunities. Guide them but don’t dictate to them. Be there for them even if they make poor choices.Bring about change for yourself and others will follow.May the new year bring you happiness and fulfillment.
A parent who cannot dictate to a child, should teach them to stand on their own two feet when they make bad choices and do not bring it back to the parent's doorsteps. So that goes both ways.
Imran I'm so sorry for your and these family and friends loss, I had an Asian friend many years ago, a beautiful talented and headstrong girl who was being forced into an arranged marriage, one day she said to me you won't see me again I'm running away because I'm not going to marry no Pakistani, that was more than 30 years ago and I think of her often praying she's safe living a happy life, because if she had stayed she would be living in fear of her family who would without doubt put her in a grave. I am sorry for the loss of your friend and the girl he loved. Life is too short to have regrets regarding happiness. Each of us knows ourselves better than others do so we should have the choice to choose for our own happiness. Granted some guidance might be helpful at times. Eventho you are very sad now about the loss of your friend I hope you can get small comfort in knowing he and his loved one are not suffering any longer. Very small comfort when you would rather see him here and happy. I'm a mother and my children are living a happy life (thanks heaven) because we always gave them the freedom to make their own choices. What they wanted to study and who they fell in love with and wanted to marry was up to them. You can advise them, but when they have made up their mind, your task as parents is to support them. I'm so sorry for your loss. My brother committed suicide and was the hardest thing I've had to go through. I don't see change until the government puts a stop to forced marriages. I have problem with marrying first cousin. To me that's as close as you get is to marry you sibling. And to have a big chance of having disable children. Look at the Pern family. Viendo tus videos he notado que eres muy sensible y eso te afecta mucho. Debes intentar no pensar en eso que te afecta si no lo puedes resolver por que te haces daño, cuando se presenten estos pensamientos negativos, identificalos y hazlos a un lado, no es que los olvides, pero cambialos por pensamientos como por ejemplo: ¿que hacer para mejorar mi calidad de vida?, ¿que hacer para energizar mi clase y darles pequeñas satisfacciones y mejores aprendizajes a mis estudiantes?. Lo digo por experiencia propia, debemos aprender a desactivar los pensamientos tristes y negativos y reemplazarlos por aquellos que nos traen salud y un poco de tranquilidad. It is up to your generation to change things. The older generation is too set in their ways. Marry for love. Educate your children. Give them opportunities. Guide them but don’t dictate to them. Be there for them even if they make poor choices.Bring about change for yourself and others will follow.May the new year bring you happiness and fulfillment.
A parent who cannot dictate to a child, should teach them to stand on their own two feet when they make bad choices and do not bring it back to the parent's doorsteps. So that goes both ways.

Imran I'm so sorry for your and these family and friends loss, I had an Asian friend many years ago, a beautiful talented and headstrong girl who was being forced into an arranged marriage, one day she said to me you won't see me again I'm running away because I'm not going to marry no Pakistani, that was more than 30 years ago and I think of her often praying she's safe living a happy life, because if she had stayed she would be living in fear of her family who would without doubt put her in a grave. Stay strong beautiful soul ❤
So i guess now, she is like most western women and jumping from bed to bed like a dog with many men.

I'm a mother and my children are living a happy life (thanks heaven) because we always gave them the freedom to make their own choices. What they wanted to study and who they fell in love with and wanted to marry was up to them. You can advise them, but when they have made up their mind, your task as parents is to support them. I have problem with marrying first cousin. To me that's as close as you get is to marry you sibling. And to have a big chance of having disable children. Look at the Pern family.
