Im beginning to think something fishy is going on, cuz the magic number is ALWAYS 10🥶.. A half decent coach wouldn't let collapses like this happen as many times as they have under Kyle's watch!
What exactly did we all just witness? That was another helping of "Mayo on fries" folks! Yuck! Ok, it wasn't all bad but that doesn't exactly ease our suffering on a Monday when we should be celebrating a Dub, right? Ok, here's my game balls, Duds, and overall impressions/observations: Game Balls (for those who stood out positively) Purdy-answered the bell and "put on" despite no CMC, Deebo, Kittle and a turnstile we affectionately call McKivitz (#68). Anyone saying he can only play with The Avengers, see exhibit A; he carried them yesterday. His cardio is on point man, he was running around everywhere and handling his business! JJ (Jauan Jennings)-boy, have yourself a day young man! 11 catches and 175 with 3 tuddies? You stood on business, buddy! Huf (Talanoa Hufanga)-pretty decent outing coming back from last year's ACL; 7 tackles Ji'Ayir Brown-4 tackles, 2 PBUs (passes broken up) BA (Brandon Aiyuk)-5 catches, 48 yds on 10 targets (some negated by penalties); working his quickly back into form Duds/Putrid Overall Coaching-ST, Def, and at times the Off. Just atrocious (esp ST-good god, high school teams can field better spec teams units then that garbage we trot out there each week!). Can't get off the field on 3rd down defensively and Kyle needs to find other guys to tote the rock (other than Mason). ST Coaching-really? You didn't see or expect a fake punt all week? You can't find a way to field a reasonably competent ST coverage or return squad? We are professionals, right? I semi excuse the late 55 yd miss but I mean c'mon with the fake punt and absolutely botched punt return at the end (38 yds to put the Rams at the 50). Def Coaching- I know this DC (Def Coord) is new and all and even our previous ones struggled to find their groove early on so I'm gonna give him more time to prove what he is. However, either he or they (the players) need to step up and execute better and not give up huge backbreaking plays (after missed FGs, penalties, etc) and convert constantly on 3rd down that allow inferior teams to stick around. Play tighter coverage on WRs and make the QB hold the ball. On a (largely) immobile QB like Stafford, you push the pocket into his lap and bring your edge guys and finish the job. They had a depleted OL and you still couldn't capitalize! Impressions/Observations Pretty solid outing by offense, esp Purdy, Mason, and JJ (they carried) Abysmal/putrid effort and execution by defense and ST; they lost it for us (again) Why is Ronnie Bell on this team? Does he fetch coffee for everyone else? Pick up Kyle's dry cleaning? He sure doesn't catch the rock. What does Purdy have to do, Ronnie? Fed Ex the ball to you? Run over there and put it in your gut? Please help us help you! Play your better players and rookies, Kyle! There's no way Cowing is as bad as Bell so why is he not out there contributing? Hmmm? Let's just burn/retire #10 forever in effigy (the number, not the actual player). It's got way too much bad mojo!! (see Jimmy G, Kyle Williams and Bell)
They talk about complimentary football, well this was complimentary football at its worst. The offense let us down in the 4th quarter. Why didn't we run Mason more? The defense let us down the entire 2nd half, especially in that 4th quarter. And Special teams were abysmal all day long what with a blocked punt and huge punt return. Coaching was not on point in terms of preparation and calls in gameWhen one part of the team went bad, other parts complimented it by going bad too. Terrible loss. Oh ya, Ronnie Belll gotta go. I've tried to defend him, but he's the Roberto Duran of Wide Receivers, the dude has hands of stone!
Super Bowl hangover, I would like for them to be undefeated or make it to the playoffs every year, but reality is, they are not seem like the players are tired And don’t have that edge it is what it is go Niners
Defensive struggles start with Bosa. Bosa is no longer an impact player, and has never been a closer in the 4th quarter of games. He is paid like 2 players and plays like half player. The only defender playing up to their standard on this defense is Warner.
Shenanigans is perfect in the 2nd half. Koach has got to script the entire game, be cause there are no in game adjustments none, also because what he doesn’t have any ryhm or reason with what’s going on at the moment. We are outcoached every 2nd half of every game koach has coached. Players like Warner, MC, Kittle, Williams, Bosa, Juice, Deboo, they have to know that this is going on if it is, SPEAK UP, and I know they don’t want to get on koach’s “pissy list” I get it but enough, have a private meeting with ownership and educate him because he doesn’t know what’s going, help him. In all fairness to koach this isn’t helping him either, he hasn’t improved as a coach has he, NO, he has NOT. No accountability and not taking any responsibility for this debacle, like he’s Mr prefect and so he’s not improving cus he’s not fixing his wrongs, anyway, this is ridiculous. We don’t need 9 captains talking to ownership by the way 9 captains, “come on man” no, it’s not why we lost but it just adds to the “wtf’s” seriously. Aside from the money you guys are making, let’s go, have some dignity and respect for yourself your teammates, ownership, the fans, including the koach, he needs to know. Very frustrating and something that is easily fixed, period, THE 49ers NEED A COACH that has experience and a proven track record, period. Lastly, no joke I know a coach in another sport that scripts the entire game doesn’t make in game as needed adjustments, and actually a great coach makes in game asjustments before plays happen as preventative maintenance, before the problem occurs, great coaches have a 6th sense if you will, koach does NOT. I’m not going to apologize as I usually do for my messages, I don’t even put the blame on the koach, this is over his pay grade and ownership needs to step up. Jed needs to know his money helps allot thank you, but please it’s a hard decision but time is overdue. Please help us fans!
That tweet Jennings put out about people acting like they did everything themselves instead of realizing they are a part of a bigger picture was definitely at BA. I don't care that he walked it back and said it wasn't. It was.

How about Shanahan putting Bell out there instead of Cowing? Talk about bad decisions. Chiefs are putting their rookie WR out there with Xavier Worthy and they're doing great. Just another example of how Kyle thinks he knows better than teams that win.
The 49ers need to change the DC and stop paying people for not producing if they can't do that then Jed York needs to start looking for a new head, coach and GM's because they are not going to get any better.

Kyle's been making those excuses since he was offensive Coordinator in Atlanta 😂😂😂😂
Until I see heart fight and passion this team ain’t going nowhere
Put nick in the booth 😂
Javon Hargave is out for the season now too, partially torn tricep
Keep playing like this. You all won't even see the playoffs
For starters Get rid of Ronny Bell he’s worthless
I have been asking for Jennings to get more playing time since last year.
Purdy also was great but thanks to 6 dropped passes and a missed field goal we lost
Pay cuts 🤭
The stress of unsigned stars coming in late is obvious. And if BA doesn't ball out vs Patriots then what???
'🤣' STOP if you've heard this BEFORE '😱.. MAN, why doesn't the media shine a light on this more🤔? Absolutely correct! Why can't this team put any team away 🤔? Is this coach allergic to double digit leads in the 2nd half? If you aren't fed up with this guy as a Fan, you either don't really care, or you don't really understand Football.
Ok, here's my game balls, Duds, and overall impressions/observations:
Game Balls (for those who stood out positively)
Purdy-answered the bell and "put on" despite no CMC, Deebo, Kittle and a turnstile we affectionately call McKivitz (#68).
Huf (Talanoa Hufanga)-pretty decent outing coming back from last year's ACL; 7 tackles
Ji'Ayir Brown-4 tackles, 2 PBUs (passes broken up)
BA (Brandon Aiyuk)-5 catches, 48 yds on 10 targets (some negated by penalties); working his quickly back into form
Duds/Putrid
Overall Coaching-ST, Def, and at times the Off.
Impressions/Observations
Pretty solid outing by offense, esp Purdy, Mason, and JJ (they carried)
Abysmal/putrid effort and execution by defense and ST; they lost it for us (again)
Why is Ronnie Bell on this team?
Brock is not a closer. That's why Stafford showed him how to do it with 45 sec left.
Need to get a real defensive coordinator imagine spagnola or Schwartz or Flores with this defense
Sorenson is out of his element.
Super Bowl hangover, I would like for them to be undefeated or make it to the playoffs every year, but reality is, they are not seem like the players are tired And don’t have that edge it is what it is go Niners
They need to stop taking their foot off the gas.
I would hate to play the niners next week 😆
Wish Ross Dwelley was still here with us.
Why are the Niners so complacent following this loss? Sheesh, I’ve seen more excitement with guys headed to prison.
It was a lack luster performance by KYLE SHANY😢I was sure some tricks would be called. But not by LA !
They click baiting title mad annoying ngl. Just hit the * don’t recommend button *
What’s click bait about it? He said they got complacent and didn’t finish
Get the feeling lenoir isn’t going to be rewarded with a contract. See him leaving as a free agent
Fukin sick
Defensive struggles start with Bosa. Bosa is no longer an impact player, and has never been a closer in the 4th quarter of games. He is paid like 2 players and plays like half player. The only defender playing up to their standard on this defense is Warner.
There is no culture. 4 different DCs in 5 years. Hard for a defense to adapt culture with so much change at the leadership position
It was.
Oh it 100% was
Here’s an idea…. Kyle should hire a play caller.
That’s a terrible idea
SF got their hope taken away 😂
Good take on to the next game smh ⛏️🏈
they dont have probably their top 3 weapons i mean yeah the defense and special teams sucked but they overcome that if they have their team out there
So what? LA was in a worse injury situation and they won. If both teams had all their weapons, it would still be close.
@@johncaputo5538 i dont think so
How about punting the ball to the sidelines ( around the 5, 10 yard line) not to the rookie who is super fast….🤷🏼♂️ pretty easy decision.
It seems like this is just the nature of this team 🤷🏽. They'll rip off 8 wins at some point, only to run outta gas in the playoffs 🤦🏽♂️
Terrible defense, terrible special teams, no killer instinct 🤧 we got punked by the B squad. Same things as usual rinse and repeat. What's the excuse now? Y'all are paid.... We didn't sign better safeties why? I haven't watched a game so far.... I'm not missing anything, am I.
How about Shanahan putting Bell out there instead of Cowing? Talk about bad decisions. Chiefs are putting their rookie WR out there with Xavier Worthy and they're doing great. Just another example of how Kyle thinks he knows better than teams that win.
Well duh. This game almost seemed cooked by the bookys.
The 49ers need to change the DC and stop paying people for not producing if they can't do that then Jed York needs to start looking for a new head, coach and GM's because they are not going to get any better.
Defensive is so trash, can't help but notice how complacent the Defensive coordinator is with this basic rush 4 and zone coverage. Brian flores from the viking was sho2ing crazy blitze packages confusing purdy and not letting him get comfortable in the pocket.
This is what the niners do in superbowls...Blow leads in the 4th quarter.
