You've got to do a wizard's tower if you're doing a medieval village! You could incorporate a library with the enchanting table, an alchemy lab for the brewing stand, and the nether portal into it!
Who’s going to be building the village with me? Please note: The seed for the village is for Minecraft 1.16. If you want to use the world in 1.18 then you will have to create the world in 1.16 first, load up the chunks in the area, save the game then open it in 1.18 :)
Spuds! You got some great planning techniques! I can see we think similarly! Although I tend to go all “wool spammy” LOL. But I love the way you break up the different elements of the build so it’s easier to digest! 🦑🔥
Medieval castles didn’t have defensive facials facing inwards (I.e. don’t repeat the outside face on the inside). The idea was that the walls would be defensible to an invader, but if the walls were captured by an enemy, they wouldn’t be protected from defenders still inside the settlement.
This is such a cool town so far, and I'm super excited to see how it looks further along :) I was going to build it, but I definitely don't have enough patience lol

I have a suggestion for this village which i could also use in my build. You can build a Waterfall Community place which is an artificial waterfall and a small open area for people to sit and chat. You can build it in the farmland shaded. It could be used for hydrating the plants. Give my suggestion a thought. BTW love the short and sweet tutorials that you make.

This is a wonderful idea. Building 1 thing throughout many videos. I can wait to build this. And even better is it looks like a great seed to start on! I really hope there are many add-ons to this. If I may add 1 suggestion. For the roofs of any buildings. Maybe stone blocks or other non wood just in case lightning hits, it won't turn in to a large firey mess 😁 Thanks you though for this idea. Since the caves and cliffs part two update the bedrock seed looks nothing like it does on this video now. I still love the series and i want to make everything you have made so far. I just need to find a good spot now.

It also uses extra resources to double the stone on the inside

If you want this build to be in nether style simply replace the stone bricks to black stone and planks to warped planks
