Beautiful cover and vidéo .. I like👍👍 Loved it... Congratulations .. I subscribe!!! Have a good day Danielle🎶🎶🎵🎵
The arrangement was excellent as always! I was impressed by the good performances that were exciting and piercing! I am looking forward to the next arrangement.
This sounds fantastic!! I really love how your guitar tone sounds here. I don't know much about guitars, but it was very cool to ready about how you changed it up for this cover. I really liked how you included all of the different sections in the description as you played the different parts. Great job, I love the energy!
Such an electrifying electric guitar cover! This guitar cover really stirs up a lot of tension and excitement in me. It sounds like something bad or dangerous is approaching. I love how you drove this piece of music with so much energy and passion. This sounds totally amazing! You have amazing guitar skills too. Keep up the great work, man!
Oh man, you beat me to making a Metroid cover. Your tone really shines on this track and the backing instrument gives a nice atmosphere to this cover, as well as the lightning in every shot. Love the sound of it, sounds killer! Great job bro
I created whole new rhythm and lead tones just for this song so thank you! I was so inspired by how atmospheric this game is and wanted to communicate this within a metal guitar context so I'm super happy you like it! And it's not a contest, I'm really looking forward to your interpretation of Metroid!
Wow, this is really great, man!!! Awesome playing, great energy and distorted tone! I enjoyed it very much, it's also really cool that you label the different sections "Grab the Charge Beam" etc. Quite fun to read the labels while imagining those different scenes while listening to the whole thing. I subscribed to your channel :)
Thanks!! I'm so glad you liked the guitar tone, I re-made my presets just for this song and brought in a new virtual drums to try and make things sound good. The sections correspond to the gameplay so it's really nice when people notice!
This was the greeny area of this game right? I was so bad at this game, but I should try it out again since I do enjoy like almost any good metroidvania game xD but you needed to do the double jump there and damn I was so baaaad xD I like really the accompaniment in this one and the percussion in the background :) And I like how the leadguitar is used for the 16-bit choir of this song, great Idea =D it has quit a sigma stage feeling with this but still this "you are in a dark cave on an epic mission" feeling. I liked the passage "grab the charge beam" the most from this cover, sick guitar playing!
Thank you! Yep it's the green part and the pink part leading to that plant boss. I'm not great at metroidvania games either but I tried to play through this game without a guide many years ago! The controls definitely didn't age well. If you do play the game again, you can use the section names as hints to find upgrades Glad you noticed I was using guitar for that! I figured while I could just program some synth, it would be more satisfying and unique to just play the notes on guitar. That way the synth is more special when it is used, like in the charge beam section you mentioned!
Not familiar with the music since I don't play Super Metroid but damn this sounds super crisp and solid! Visual looks amazing too with the different lightings. Amazing work yo! 🔥
Great stuff, as always! I don't know these games, so I'm curious - how much creative liberties do you take when covering them? Is it pretty faithful, note for note, or are you making a fairly original arrangement that basically strongly resembles the original basically strongly resembles the soundtrack?
I appreciate that! It really depends on the song. For shorter songs like X3 Zero's theme, in order to make it a substantial song I had to add a lot like reharmonizing the rhythm chords in order to extend verses. For songs that have longer source material like this one I start off pretty faithful and then introduce changes, like here starting from 01:50 going to 03:11 is all original. But it's still inspired by the source material - the breakdown's rhythm is just 00:07's rhythm but with much shorter rests in between repetitions, and the way the riffs modulate are inspired by how "enter norfair" modulates, how the original does Overall the additions I make are to help transform the song from something meant to be heard in the background to something to listen to front and center. I'm always trying to make it work with the original so I'm super happy that it seems like it flows well enough to not sound tacked on!
Thank you! I'm glad it all worked out because getting the palm mutes on the lower strings in particular under control with this guitar took a lot of work with EQ and compressors. These passives have a lot of bass down low!
Excellent my friend. I like the tone of the guitars on this one. I found that the mix of the different elements was well balanced, with also short passages of drum blast. It's great work. Thanks for sharing, Greetings!

That means a lot since the goal of adjusting how a guitar sounds is to make it sound good for everyone! So glad you enjoyed this and everything

Excellent cover and video!
Thank you very much!
Great new video bravo 🔥🔥💃
Thank you so much!
Awesome video! 😊 Watched till the end.
Thank you dude!
Sick! Diggin that rhythm tone! Cuts through the mix nicely. I also love the bell-like tone of the clean guitars too. Good stuff man 🤘🏼
Thank you! Always on a quest for good guitar tone so that means a lot!
@@HighZ I know the struggle for sure, it's never ending lol
That's great music and guitar performance my friend
- compliment, BIG like and greetings from Darbass
Thanks dude!
Not familiar with the music since I don't play Super Metroid but damn this sounds super crisp and solid! Visual looks amazing too with the different lightings. Amazing work yo! 🔥
I appreciate that, thanks! The original song is super solid so it provided a strong base to build off of. Glad you like the lighting too!
Great stuff, as always!

Heavy and wild riffing! Super cool 👍👍
It's all inspired from the original! Glad you enjoyed the riffs 🎶
That was a truly masterful cover!
Thank you! I wanted to use the guitar for most things on this so I'm glad it worked out!
My favorite part is "enter norfair." Those textures blend together so well!
Thank you! I'm glad it all worked out because getting the palm mutes on the lower strings in particular under control with this guitar took a lot of work with EQ and compressors. These passives have a lot of bass down low!
Your sound is awesome and excellent! I really love the clean notes in the 'Open the gate' part.
Thank you! This is quickly becoming my favorite clean sound
Fantastic job sounds great
Thank you, I appreciate it!
This Sounds Really Nice! Great Job Z!
Thanks dude! Glad you liked it

Hello and thank you! It took a lot of effort to get all the guitar sections to be both dynamic and balanced so I appreciate you saying that!
It's very cool cover, my friend, - I enjoyed listening !!!🔥🎸😎
