- This week our guest is journalist and author Elizabeth Kolbert whose work focuses heavily on climate change. Her books on the subject include Field Notes From A Catastrophe, The 6th Extinction (which won a Pulitzer prize), and her most recent 2021 book: Under A White Sky.
In this episode, we explore the content and ideas that Elizabeth puts forth in these books, with a particular focus on what kind of changes climate change is causing to the world and the ways in which humanity has been responding--for better or worse.

Good interview - too many refuse to accept what their eyes tell them. Also, SU might want to discuss climate science with Dr. Tim Garrett with the U of Utah. An atmospheric scientist, his research includes development of a thermodynamic basis for interpreting the evolution of the global economy, and its relationship to atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide. It's not looking good, guys and gals and his research adds an additional level of complexity in solving the carbon conundrum. Thanks.
