I'm glad you were able to make it to the motel. It was fun following along on google maps. Looks like that road hasn't been used at all since the highway was built. We have a lot of those roads here and it's cool to discover what abandoned roadside oddities may have been built for travelers back it the day when people stopped along the way more often.
