I’m not sure if it’s honest and straightforward as much as it’s being coached on how to handle invasive questions. You can tell she thinks of her career first, that her answers have been thought about ahead of time, she knows it’s bad press to criticize coworkers or a role she has acted in, or even the movie, that’s just smart business, the girl is on fire these days!
Damn she blew me away with this interview, she was so respectful and professional... the questions that we the fans want to know she answered in the best way possible. Stern and many other interviewers have been digging into the personal lives of male celebrities for years. Just because they may not react as emotionally during the interviews as some women doesn’t mean the questions were never asked in the first place. She’s also a 21 year old actress doing an hour long interview on the Howard Stern Show - personal questions are going to pop up, especially since she has limited life experience compared to other guests.
Most unproblematic actress. So mature, so straight up, no sugar coating. That’s real life🤷🏽♀️👏🏾

Jacob did an full IG video thanking TKB folks for the opportunity. He seems like a very sensitive guy in interviews and it’s possible the break up hurt him more than he is letting on. Joey is a self confident Leo girl, who always was very prominent in their relationship. She is just daily upbeat by nature. He could be hurting out there in quietude. Also, Nate versus Noah and TKB versus Euphoria is night and day. Euphoria is so much more complex. It’s less about TKB being unworthy for him or beneath him, and more about it simply not being known for the complex acting or complex storyline. It’s about the adorable story of these two people who fall in love. So, he’s admittedly not going to say it’s fabulous complex acting. Joey has grown up in the business and has family in the business. She knows how to navigate it like a 45 year old. Jacob is sensitive and new to it all, so I give him the benefit of the doubt. He is a sweetheart in all interviews. I love them together and was sad they split.

Idk, I just feel like he should remain professional about it. I don’t even like TKB series but him liking shady tweets about the movies and being so obvious about his dislike for the series comes off as really ungrateful. Ofc he doesn’t have to like everything he’s in but Jacob did take the project and for him to disregard it kinda undermines everyone else that was part of creating the movie. I mean even the Riverdale cast didn’t start making jabs at the show until a couple seasons in.

Let’s be honest. They way Joey and Jacob looked at each other throughout Kissing Booth 2 you could tell that was real emotion. You could see it in their eyes that they missed each other and the kissing scenes were soooo real. Maybe it was me but I’m still rooting for them to get back together🤷🏽♀️

Joey is phenomenal and I’m just so frickin happy that young women like her exist. She has proven that she can do an exquisite job doing a more complex role like on The Act, and also a more fun loving character like in TKB. She is so dedicated to Elle and to the character, despite how hard this must have all been for her, having a breakup w the other main character and having it all happen in the public eye. She is a role model for young women and men, I love her so much. She’s quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with and I hope she meets her match because she deserves a loving relationship free of competition and guilt

I’m so happy with Joey that she looks so cool and mature. Otherwise seems like Jacob is avoiding the situation. Even though he couldn’t participate in interviews with the casts bc of the coronavirus, he could post about the movie in his instagram. So coronavirus thing cannot be an excuse. He just don’t want to promote the movie which made him to become famous. He really needs to think about what really matters. SO DISAPPOINTED
He’s last post on insta was on the 12th of July. There for he might of deleted Instagram since then but he could of re downloaded it to promote tkb but honestly I’ve only just started watching tkb so I don’t know if he has posted on his story since then

He has deleted everything on his Instagram except for a few things and most of them are about photography. So it has nothing to with not wanting to promote Yhe Kissing Booth. He did post things on his stories. Plus, he did an interview with GQ that got 1M in a day without promoting anything. Taylor is doing what Jacob when he first got know, which is oversharing. And like Joey, he will realize that isn't healthy. Jacob and Joey opened up so much their relationship to the world that now it's difficult for fans to understand that now they don't want to do that anymore.
I like Jacob but his blatant dislike/aversion for the Kissing Booth movies is just distasteful, but ofc ppl think it’s cute. If Joey, an Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actress, can do promo for a shitty movie so can a newbie like Jacob.

Not watching their own movies it's super common for actors. Specially when there wasn't any premiere and they have to see it there. I would think it's more weird that he watched the movie than not. Also, Joey it's part of the production of TKB, so she has more responsibility than any of the rest of the cast

Jacob did Joey SO DIRTY. imo he used her and as soon as he saw the opportunity and started getting more famous and meeting more people, he ditched her and now's dating Zendaya. It's also tough cause since actors are always meeting new people and making romantic couples in movies, there's much higher risk that they'll meet someone else and dump you, look at Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston for example. So I totally understand her not wanting to date another actor.

She’s a professional, and loved how she cares enough about the story to not let her own choices and personal life interfere with her job and the movie. Like this whole thing about TKB2, he’s so damn rude and disrespectful to the whole cast, team, and Netflix and acts like he has zero interest! He didn’t even promote the film and has the audacity to say he hasn’t even seen the film and says “be honest” when the interviewer tells him she liked the movie. I think she may have lost a tiny bit of weight (or just gained some coming into age shape and muscle) since kissing booth 1 (SHE DIDN"T NEED TO) ... but she's had a bit of a glow up. I think you can tell she isn't in her teens anymore and her structure has changed just the slightest and she looks fantastic! BUT I wish people would drop the joey and Jacob thing.. im sure if either had realized it would still be as sensationalized as it is, they wouldn't have dated. Joey is really coming into her own and I appreciate how supportive she is again and again, even when howard is not very subtly wanting some drama or her to diss Jacob in some way. Good for her, that attitude will let her go far.

I don’t think they’ll ever get back together, (I know, it’s sad)....she seems pretty happy with the guy she’s dating now, and honestly, when it comes to business, I think she’s a bit more mature than Jacob, just bc he’s at the beginning of his career and is learning things about where/what he wants to be doing five years down the road, whereas she’s already there - producing her own projects, setting up her own production company.....they just aren’t in the same place.
