nah 1v1 are boring as hell, especially when you have already seen all possible matchups. The team format is way more dynamic and more things that can happen there based on daily shape and team chemistry and tactics.
1s are boring. Same stuff every time. Team games open it up to more potential possibilities, and they often show more about a player.
Nathan was the Xfactor of this season. If Qel or Kam and even Rob picked him up instead their last pick they would have won.

One good game scoring wise but don’t disrespect him like that. Unlike what people say about Castro, Alex is a guy with high enough IQ to actively impact the game without scoring/being on the court. For proof, you don’t gotta look far. TNC Seasons 7 & 8 show Alex being the glue guy to help Team Friga come out on top, now add Season 9 to that list.
He did what he was suppose to. Didn’t get big in his ego, knew when he wasn’t on & let his teammates handle business. Not too many of these guys are actually willing to take a backseat like that and still hoop when it’s their time. Alex did exactly what his team needed from him.

This was a good season, it definetly had potential to be the best. One thing I missed was the post-match interviews, but I understand there was a lot of footage and games that had to be recorded. Some players could’ve played harder or made the matchups more exciting by actively competing. Can’t wait for the Charlotte series and season 10!
