@@concamon1364 No offense to Ciara but after her second album her career took a downward fall. Keri might only have two albums but both albums can be played straight through. Ciara had good SINGLES but not one of her albums can be played straight through. Her artistry mirrors Ashantis in which their singles are big but the overall cohesiveness of their albums falls flat and neither has strong vocal abilities. They can “ooh” and “aah” but that’s as far as it goes. Plus Keri has writing credits for multiples songs that are hits.
@@jtaylor875 Chile .... "Promise" alone demolishes Keri's entire catalogue. Then Keri has to worry about Ciara's other 15 RIAA certified hits. Ciara has way more hits and much bigger hits. That is an objective fact.
You must not know this, but Ciara was brung into the industry as a writer herself. She wrote most of her hits, and even wrote songs for other artists, much like Keri.
And I disagree with you regarding Keri's discography. Her albums are not cohesive and her subject manner was inconsistent and even contradictory on her second album. Her projects had weird filler that didn't need to be there, and there was no growth in her visuals or performances. She also lacked a unique sound or aesthetic. Ciara on the other hand was largely in her own lane sonically and visually.
It's a mismatch in all categories. Keri could *maybe* hold her own against Kelly or Amerie.
Edit: As far as Ciara's career is concerned, she sold over 23 million albums and 70 million singles. Goodies outsold Keri's entire cataloge .....
Downward trend or not, Keri is not anywhere near her in sales, acclaim, or impact.

@@jani4245 I see what you mean. She might could put up a valient effort but once "Oh" comes on its a rap lol. I actually like Keri, I just don't know how well she could *really* hold up. That's why I suggested Kelly. Kelly had a decent career post DC but she never really was popular in the way Ciara or even Ashanti were at one point.

She doesn’t want anything to do with Beyoncé. She’s too traumatized from the beyhive. She doesn’t even want to expand on the thought of a collaboration. As she said “no one will believe it” she seems she’s still caught up in public perception. She admits she dissed her. She regrets it but it’s too late. I feel bad for her but at least she’s still voicing her opinion.
