Here is what you'll need!
How To Make A Blanket Fort
Note: These are just our suggestions and tips for building a successful fort structure, but we encourage you to be resourceful and get creative with what you have!
SUPPLIES
Sheets
Blankets
Cushions
Pillows
Chairs
Wooden dowels or broomsticks
Clothespins
Binder Clips
String
Tape
String lights
Electric tea lights
LED lights
Heavy Books
Entertainment
Snacks
Friends
Whatever else you feel you might need to make it cozy!
INSTRUCTIONS
Choose a location and clear a space for your fort.
Build the walls of the fort with the backs of chairs.
Drape blankets over the backs of the chairs.
Add layers of blankets to the floor between the chairs.
Line the walls of the fort with pillows and cushions.
Drape a sheet across the chairs to create a roof. Secure by placing heavy books on the edges of the sheet.
Secure dowels and broomsticks between couch cushions. Tie a string across them.
Drape another sheet across the dowels to create a second level of the fort. Secure the sheets together with clothespins or binder clips.
Use more dowels or sticks to raise the roof of the fort.
Add string lights (secure with binder clips) and other electric lights to the walls and roof of the fort.
Add a TV, laptop, books, snacks or other sources of entertainment (optional).
Hide in your fort for the rest of the year.

Tips from the master🧐:
-Definitely use mostly sheets. They are lighter and probably bigger than most blankets
-If you’re allowed too, pin sheets to the wall you instead of completely using chairs and poles to give height to your fort
-If you have one of those weird bungee chairs, use it as a “window” for ventilation
-USE YOUR MATTRESS AS THE BASE. Especially if u wanna sleep in it, which I always do. Some forts I’ve made have actually stayed up for weeks cuz I think they’re so cool lmao
-Use a small bookshelf if you have one for candles and other storage. I place the books on my bed boards since I’m using the mattress!
I know most of you might not have all these specific things, but my point is to get creative!

Dude one time I invited a friend and my cousins over for a sleepover and we built like 6 forts and my ‘friend’ said she had to sleep and to turn off the tv but first she wanted to watch something for a while so i didn’t care I was like ‘go ahead’ and my cousins and I chilled in the forts. BUT HER AND ONE OF MY COUSINS COULDNT SEE, we said deal with it because our main fort was barely in the way of the tv. And my cousin had the audacity to take down the roof. I thought it was okay.
Then this came up in my recommendations.
This was too hard.
So I looked up some different ones.
They were no help.
So I attempted to make one myself.
I was amazed at my fort-building abilities.
The only other material I used was an extra chair.

Making and having a blanket fort always was one of my biggest childhood dreams. Now I found this... AND IM TOTALLY GONNA MAKE ONE!
i did this at a sleepover but made it bigger, like 3 friends helped me gather all the blankets in the hallway closet andpillows and stick they had a bunch ifall it toegther, and it acually turned out great. we had popcorn,snacks,drinks, some candy,we even made the bunk bed stairs have the christmas lights on it and it leads up to a snack bar with chocolate, more snacks, and cute stuffies. it was super fun and since they had a bunch of christmas lights they didnt use to did it all around the room, on the beds, her mini sofa. her closet with a bunch of really fun activites and slime. we had more guests to help and it turned out amazing. it was a cozy big room fort with like alot of snacks. we do this all the time now! and we also watched anime, cartoons, movies, and a bunch more! tysm!!!

I made a giant fort with my friend a few days ago and made it have two floors. It had a charging station, a corner with books and drawing supplies, etc. We made it for cats to so it had a cat condo and house with cat toys that led to the top of the fort (the second floor) and rubber balls to have wars. It was fun ^^
I made this in the summer! It’s not bad at all!! I didn’t use the exact things they used but it worked! I’m in it rn!! I brought myself some water and some food too! I also got myself an ice pack just in case!! Test it out it works!!! Do the thing!!😁😉
