The patch for the bio digestor is looking good. Looks like you have plenty bio mass available as soon as you have it setup. If possible get yourself a water temp gauge. It is interesting to measure the water temp so once in while, especially during a longer very warm period of time. Then you get an idea about how the heat builds up, and how quick that goes, and if it is too high to be good or not.
Today I ordered 30% shade cloth so that I can protect the growbeds during hot days with a high sun intensity. I am going to adjust it so that I can roll it up for each different IBC container during cloudy days or during the winter. It comes in longer lengths so I have to cut it in 4 smaller sections. I have chosen for 30% because I do not want to block the sunlight too much, and I can always add another layer. But it is much needed, today the water temp went up with 2 degrees Celsius in a single day. That is too much change for my liking. Also because it wasn't even that hot. It can get much hotter, and from now on that can happen any moment.
It is interesting to see how I created a micro climate with my growbeds. I had no idea how hot it could get until I started measuring. The temp gauge inside my growbeds showed around 95F in the full sun, while the ambient temp was only around 70F. But the plants and the micro organisms in the growbeds have to endure 95F. And because the night temp is still relative low it cools rapidly during the night. That is hard for the micro organisms. So by keeping it cooler during the day, the change in temperature will not be so big during the night.
