For me in the classic series: Season 1: The flying kipper Season 2: A close shave Season 3: Escape Season 4: Either Grandpuff or Fish Season 5: Duncan gets spooked Season 6: Thomas and the jet engine Season 7: The old bridge
I don't have alot of picks S1 Edward Gordon and Henry aka Henry to the Rescue and Thomas saves the day aka Thomas and the Breakdown Train S2 Edward's Exploit S3 Thomas and Percy's Mountain Adventure S4 Toad Stands By (OBVIOUSLY) S6 Gordon Takes a Tumble S8 Edward the Great and Halloween S9 Percy and the Oil Painting S10 probably Thomas and the Birthday Mail S11 Thomas and the Big Bang S12 James works it out And S20's Minimum Gauge Episodes
Here is my list, but I’m only doing it for Seasons 1 - 7: Season 1. The flying kipper Season 2: Ghost train Season 3: Escape Season 4: Rusty to the rescue Season 5: Rusty and the boulder Season 6: Thomas the jet engine Season 7: Salty’s stormy tale
Season 5 should’ve been Put Upon Percy in my opinion, it has everything season 5 is known for. Angry and done with life Percy, hilariously blunt banter and absolute chaos
Even tho a lot of people hates bwba (and I can understand why) we can't deny that it had a few memorable episodes S22 : Hunt the truck S23 : Free the roads S24 : maybe the little great railway show or thomas and the royal engines And about your video I actually agree with you
@@fanofeverything30465 Most of the international episodes are forgettable, except Young Bao and the tiger, but if I had to chose, it will probably be : S22 : Outback Thomas, never heard of this one for some reasons S23 : Yeah most of the international episodes are forgettable in that season so it makes it hard to chose, but I will do it anyway : Crowning Around, no body speaks about this one S24 : Shankar's Makeover, the only forgettable episode of this season with another one that i forgot it's name
ngl I agree with most of them I feel like the only thing that could have made confused coaches better is if everyone at knapford at the end was singing auld lang syne
Yet again another great video! My list is as follows: Season 1: Yeah, of course it's The Flying Kipper. No need to explain. Season 2: I go for Wrong Road. It has everything I love about S2: slice of life story, simplicity, great visuals and Edward and Gordon. Season 3: Again, I agree. Escape stands out amongst a crowd of otherwise same-y stories. Season 4: I pick Steamroller, as it's the only time in S1-5 where more than I protagonist is flawed, which as I complained in my most recent vid, wasn't used enough in those seasons. Season 5: Giant rock. Nuff said. Season 6: Believe it or not, I actually think the Fogman stands out the most. The visuals are amazing, the concept is unique, and the action is treated superbly. Also, hot take: this is better than P.A Problems (overrated episode). Season 7: It's easily Salty's Stormy Tale. It sums up S7 perfectly: overlooked, underrated, creative, has a strong moral, 10/10 fantastic and has a huge variety in characters and storytelling. Season 8: Halloween, obviously. Though I do agree with Squeak, Rattle and Roll. This is what we 2000s kids had before Puss in Boots 2. Season 9: If only Duncan and the Old Mine stood out more to fans, as it would paint S9 in a more positive picture, which it should be. Season 10: James the Second Best for that fantastic crash, but also Emily and the Special Coaches for being the only time in the model series where Diesel has a happy ending. Season 11: Hector the Horrid, for being the only good episode from S11 (though Thomas and the Runaway Car and the Madge episodes are ok too). Don't Be Silly Billy also stands out in a more negative way. Season 12: I choose Steady Eddie, for not only using the trope of a character delivering a giant object on a lone flatbed, but also giving us a decent chase scene. Season 17: Henry's Hero is, in my opinion, better than Super Rescue. Season 18: Last Train For Christmas, as everyone loves it. Season 19: Slow Stephen. It was my favourite episode once upon a time! Season 20: Out of all of them, probably Blown Away. Season 21: Definitely A Shed For Edward, one that I don't mind as much as everyone else does.
Interesting choices shown in this one some I also agree with, the series does have its memorable number of iconic episodes including a few from bad eras.
Season 1 Thomas Goes Fishing Season 2 Old Iron Season 3 Escape Season 4 Gallant Old Engine Season 5 Gordon and the Gremlin Season 6 Salty's Secret Season 7 James and the Queen of Sodor Season 8 James Goes too Far Season 9 Keeping Up with James Season 10 Thomas and the Birthday Mail Season 11 Hector the Horrid Season 12 Thomas and the Billboard Season 17 Gordon Runs Dry Season 18 Thomas and the Emergency Cable (even though it really sucks imo) Season 19 Very Important Sheep Season 20 Useful Railway Season 21 Dowager Hatt's Busy Day
The Beast of Sodor is one of those guilty pleasured episodes of mine. While Henry's character in the first half is kind of the same as his downgraded CGI persona (which derives mainly from Andrew Brenner's magazine stories which he used to work for predating his work for the show minus S3/5 adaptation-wise), at least it's not too over the top that makes me want to scream my head off unlike Henry Spots Trouble and he does come out on top in the second act before the end. Plus it's a rarity to see a dynamic between him and Spencer (which the latter is the best part of the episode for me). And while the B-plot humor w/ STH feels forced, I don't really mind it. Honestly, I'd rather take this episode than the Hamtaro episode 'The Abominable Snow Woman' which is basically a copy-and-paste rewrite of Ghost Mountain which both are ironically in the same season.
@@PeePeeSam I just remembered where the walking bridge is from, and I now feel like reality shifting to sodor and replace it with a practical iron/brick bridge instead

True. But I think Rusty & The Boulder also has this as well as the mystery/spooky element that Season 5 is known for too, which is why I chose it 👍🏻
@@PeePeeSam To each their own
