cutting the brown wire isn't necessary. you can just hook up the switch to the head light control fuse and just use that switch buy it self. you will get the same result
@tehbabes no. if you hit your brights while in sleepy eye mode it opens your lights all the way. even if u have the lights on in sleepy eye mode and hit the brights they will still open all the way.
if u did every thing correctly, when ur switch is at the on position and the head light control button is out ur head lights should go up and down as normal. if they dont, check your fuse and all ur connections to make sure its all making a complete circuit.
well as i said above it should work with out cutting the brown wire. try just disconnecting the fuse of ur light control while the lights are on the way up. if they stop then you know that method will work. then just hook up a fuse to the switch like the video.

I did exactly the same set up as you except i use the toggle switch. It does break the circuit but when I switched to ON or OFF it doesn't link the circuit back on. PLEASE HELP

my mate also have a 180sx and he cut the brown wire and it didnt work so he had to solder the brown wires back together, problem?

hit the headlight button a shitload and it confuses the headlight control and only one comes up.
Does this work with the brights?? So with this mod I can make my brights point where the normal lights point? :D

You dont have to do the whole fuse wiring thing... i just took off the fuse and then to put them up i use the high beam switch and they go back up.
