I have 2015 Focus with a faulty lock actuator on rear door that resulted in no way to lock the door. This is the ONLY place I have been able to find this information. It is not even in the owner's manual. It is a Life Saver, as the replacement procedure is not an easy or cheap process. Thank You so much for Posting this.
Awesome! Works like a charm. Had to turn opposite direction for passenger side door.
My door stopped locking w key button.
Thanks!
Thank You it worked for 2017 Edge. Went to check vehicle before bed and rear door wouldn't lock. Was stressed about theft until I found your video.
Thank you man!

How do I open my door on my 2013 ford focus after activating the child lock won't open from outside or inside?
I wish I watched this video couple of hours before I decide to take my Fusion 2014 to the dealer to replace the door lock actuator just because I wasnt able to lock the door. Imagine I couldnt use my car to go to work for a week because I couldnt lock the door.
My gosh thanks
Will this work on 2014 ford escape?
Do you have to do that every single time?
Hey this is brilliant. I have a 2015 MKZ (just a Fusion going to prom) and it wont lock from the outside (w/ Key Fob or door code panel) but the interior switch will work 50% of the time... I'm unsure if its an actuator problem or a Body Ctrl Module issue. Touching the battery terminals together didn't fix it... Any ideas?
@@Nickthecarguy all doors, but I can only lock them all with the door switch when the car is on and the selector is in drive.
Does this work for Fusion 2006 Hatchback model ?
My passenger side will not sense the door is lock and keeps gets open. I cant lock the car either by normal key or using the remote key.
Older-model Fusions don't have any way to do this that I can see.
How do you fix the lock mechanism permanently? I still want to be able to use my key fob.
I like these types of videos. Even the smallest things can make a huge difference. Thanks!
