I am 60 years old and I will go the distance as long as I breath knowing my journey Is for my Lord and no matter what I will make it My husband past away two years ago and I was blessed to know by his words He had his ticket and that the beautiful Glory Bound goes everywhere I know you can’t see it but one day you will I love you I will see you again but in a Vapor in time I have left you everything you need I love you and will see in at the Gates of Heaven And I will go the distance because we have an Amazing God who will run this race with each of us and may we all find this race is worth running loving each and every moment He blesses us to have God bless each and everyone of us

My baby’s school played this song 🎶 this past Wednesday for their moving up ceremony and this just melted my heart ♥️ seeing my baby walking down the aisle with this beautiful song playing…tears overwhelmed me picturing her in the next 10years she’ll be graduating 👩🎓 from College then Uni! Two weeks before I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and saviour I was an unbeliever and this song kept running in my heart.. two weeks later by Gods grace the heavens opened to me and the blindfolds were removed and I could see clearly for the very first time why I was on this earth and what my journey is, and where it will end is when I go home to my father in heaven!!! And I will go the distance I will keep believing till the very end no matter what the world tells me I will say that God is REAL, Christ is LORD and when I die he will stand there to receive me and say good job my good and faithfully servant welcome home!!

This was our graduation song way back elementary years. I'm in my 30's now. Feels like yesterday and the lyrics are still fresh on my mind. Big thanks to the movie "Hercules" and to our teacher for guiding us to sing this song. And now, who would have thought that I'm about to teach the same song to my students. YES!! That’s who I think of as well. I remember when this song came out along with the Disney adaptation of Hercules. I was about 7, maybe 8 years old. About 10 months later my cousin, Staff Sergeant Stephanie Morton, a 12 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, was sadly killed in a training accident. Her husband Dean had this song played at her funeral!

Remember watching the movie many many times on DVD with the kiddies as part of they were growing up. Miss the days when Disney movies actually provided entertainment and promoted the good stuff like personal responsibility, integrity, courage, love and kindness, loyalty, perseverance…. Stuff kids should be taught to aspire to.
