This is the first song I heard by her, came up on YT recommendation. I clicked. Two notes in, I had to pause, I cursed I paced.. Started up again and tears ran down my face. Took me a minute to recover. I've not been the same since.

This is one of my favorite songs that Angelina covers because her performance is so incredibly spellbinding and captivating.
As someone that listened to this song many, many times before Angelina covered it, I have to say... what she did there is impossible. Nobody can cover this song like this. She is a true genius to be able to capture the intricacies of Lana's voice the way she did here. You can look up as many covers of this song as you can find, and you will not hear one as good as this. IMO Lana herself cannot even cover this song this well live. In this cover Angelina is incredible, perhaps one of the simplest and most beautiful of her covers, she behind this microphone that hides her, but with that wonderful voice you listen to, almost as if it came from another place ... overwhelming 😍

Better Than Lana Del Ray's original. She does a cover like no one else on the planet. She re-writes and/or re-arranges every song she sings to give it that "Angelina Touch". She knows the exact formula of how much she needs to "Angelina-ize" her voice, tone, inflection, emotion, persona and volume with different proportions to perfectly fit every song she sings! She has mastered the art of making her version of a song unique, yet showing complete respect for the Original.

@@ddayton Yes. That mic is able to capture every nuance in Angelina's voice. Probably perfect for home studios. There was such a leap in her cover video sound quality when she started using that mic.
The more expensive Neumann mics are probably for professional studios.
And only 12yrs old when she sang this.

Like the first time hearing a glass piano, she is so unexpected, every time you hear her. And then you finally just 'listen' to the song. It has all the majesty of the lyrics, and you're transported to some magical place, somewhere, sometime, but neither here nor now. As you remarked, "you can't learn that". She's had it since she was eight, and it just keeps getting better.

I agree heartily! Amira is my second favorite after Angelina. There are many other really good young artists out there. It's just that Angelina is in a class by herself.
You speak perfect English .. you should learn to say her name AN-GE-LI-NA. If you listen to your reaction you'll see what i mean. Idid like what you said .. but she had been working very hard all her life .. since 2 .. to sing like this. She is agenius and loves music and knows how she wants it her voice to sound and works on it. She taught herself .. it's amazing.

Can you please explain why you keep on saying that Angelina ".... got world wide fameous after ....AGT..." when that clearly is not the reality. The views on internet - before and after AGT - clearly show another reality. Angelina was famous internationally well before AGT. AGT gave her for sure more exposure in USA.... but not so much internationally as you would like. So sorry AGT did NOT made Angelina "worldfamous". So to the extend that she is worldfamous - so was that a reality well before AGT. So I hope you will take a more sober approach next time....

Fantastic voice, I agree. But with a lot of sirup as it is common in south-east asia. Not to compare with Angelina. Shila belongs to Las Vegas and on Broadway, I see Angelina more in Chicago and New Orleans.

This is one of Angelina's masterpieces & IMO it is much better tan Lana Del Ray's original. My favorite Angelina cover of a Lana song is Young & Beautiful which is another masterpiece.
