I'm surprised more people don't play the game like this. Lots of build around cards just waiting for a home.
@@GaussianEntitymost of the time you then face a meta deck with a disadvantage of an unoptimzed list or they straight up not let you play your cards. Which sucks the fun out of trying new stuff out.
Another reason would be a lot of people just don't have enough resources to try out everything.
@@GaussianEntity Want to make a pet card work? Better hope you have several thousand dust laying around to make a deck around it. Don't want to do that? You lose on turn 4 to [current meta deck]. And even then you're just delaying the loss to turn 8 or so.
I dont know why, but seeing that +5 just gets me going. And the bonus +5 hp on top of that? Oh hit me!!

Roffle speaking from experience about tech founders I imagine.
Triple same rune death knight today didnt work well, you sacrifice other choises for just 1 card (in standart only 3 triple rune card exlude necrotic explosion). Before rotation you could use powerfull legendaries like Mograine or Marrowgar and more cards was restricted to triple rune. Here instead of +10 hp card can be added helya or maw and paw and other cards.
