- Stay Home! I wander through the archives. Here is a collection of one minute Instagram short videos, effectively adverts on Instagram for my year long series documenting 'Our Corner of England' - woodland and water recovering from open cast mining mining.
I'm Mick Grewcock, retired from business and now self-learning the art of film-making.
My subjects are many but centre on our English landscape and its wildlife and I often feature our own woodland - Our Corner of England.

Stay safe. 👍
Beautiful, just what we need at the moment.
🌺 Lovely collection of shots. Beautifully done. Like the composition of animals from the trail cam and you next to them. - Henry

Thank you for your inspiring, calming, and thoughtful videos.
Thank you Alexander
Beautiful work yet again my friend. Keep it up👍
Brilliant Mick, loved it
Hi Mick. Keep up the good work.
Lovely Video, stay safe Mick and greetings from the Baltic sea.
I've been enjoying this channel for quite a while now already, love to follow all the videos. Maybe by chance you could make a video on how to straighten /bend your bow wood when it is necessary and how exactly you work around the branches while bow-making. Inspired by you I started making my first bow now from a nice branch of Hazel (currently drying), but it's clear already that I will have to straighten it out at least somehow. Would be really thankful for some advice. Greetings from Germany, great channel 🤝👍
Lovely Michael 🤘
you have wonderful frames left. I enjoyed watching them, dear sir. Stay safe and take care.
Still hope to find your reply to the question about the locust wood in comments section under your previous video.
Hey mick.life is a long road. Suffering my self now with a trapped nerve in my back and knees. Now I'm thinking about making UA-cam videos myself.😢😥
Hi Mike! I have a bow related question. When a longbow is not strung, should it have a slight recurve in it, or should the bend go the other way? I can't find anything which says which way the belly should bend when not strung. Thanks!
Normally no. But I’ve seen no ‘rules’.
👍
I have a bow Related question too, I made a bow and I shot it for a while a day later I was practicing again and it broke in my hands. Would anyone be able to give me some tips?
I said this wrong sorry, Would anyone be able to give me tips on how to fix that.
Hi Mick, what model wildlife/trail camera are you using? I'm looking at buying one myself
Mupworp I mainly use Browning Recon Force Advantage and sometimes Bushnell Aggressor. I prefer the former.
Goodmorning Mick. Thank you for lovely video. Stay safe and God bless you and for family.
We all see the pictures of London and other large cities in Britain and forget just how much beautiful wildlife there is on the island. Thank you so much for sharing.
nice video + music mr. Bowyer :)

I’d hate to say this but I have another question, How do I increase the draw weight in it? I am currently working on a ash sapling and trying to figure out how to use it to hunt animals. Would anyone please give me some tips
Yep you've inspired me
