We all know the real reason they showed an old ass Terminator for the Squats... it's because GW doesn't care and the intern they got to make that article didn't know.
Hanlon's Razor is usually my rule of thumb as well, and GW is certainly not infallible, but in this case the Saturnine pattern termies are such a specific niche point of reference, and also a pattern of armor they're probably never reviving, that it seems deliberate enough. I'd assume they're saying "our design language has obviously evolved quite a bit, but here's some of our legacy we're taking inspiration from"... 🤷♂ that said, the new squats aren't doing anything for me, and I'd much rather have modern sculpts of Saturnines...
