Estimado Johnny, Hay un artículo interesante en el Hog Ring Forum de donde tomé inspiración para replicar esta puntada. Me llamó la atención de como fueron 'entrelazadas' las tiritas de cuero. Noté que usaron un método diferente a las otras puntadas artesanales. The design of the picture you sent is not baseball stitch. It is a 'slanted artisan stitch'. Things are much easier for this pattern. You do not need to cut small pieces. The edges of the lace can be painted to own taste. Its edges were painted related to thread color giving a sports look. The angle of braided stitches are wider and more acute. I think it is matter of personal taste.
