The text on it is written in katakana (one of the writing systems in Japanese which I know) and to me, it looks like it says "チヤールズ" (chiyāruzu) and I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to say "Charles" (like Charlie who is on Keyin's hat) which would be "チャールズ" (chāruzu). ヤ (ya) can be small and added in front of most "-i" sounds (脚 means "leg" and can be pronounced as "kyaku" (きゃく or キャク) where き/キ is "ki" but with the small ya added after it it can become きゃ／キャ (kya)) to produce a mora with the y sound (it works with yu and yo as well (ゆ/ユ→ゅ/ュ、よ/ヨ→ょ/ョ). The small y sounds and the small vowels (ぁ、ぃ、ぅ、ぇ、ぉ、ァ、ィ、ゥ、ェ、ォ) are called yō-on (拗音 (ようおん、ヨウオン)). If it was supposed to say Charles, then チャールズ would be more accurate.
