- Today I will be sharing some of the comic book omnibus editions I am currently reading: Avengers Omnibus, Captain Marvel Genis-Vell Omnibus, Batman Detective Comics Omnibus, Spider-Man Miles Morales Omnibus, and more!

Infinite crisis omnibus. I am hooked!
@@FutureThry it is SO GOOD! That event was already my favorite DC event after I read it in paperback but I had never read all the miniseries that led into it until I got the omnibus, reading that one I loved it even more 😱

Right now wrapping up Ghost Rider by Aaron, starting the heaven's on fire arc
Idk how you can juggle so many books at the same time 😅. 2 omni max for myself until I complete them.
Some inevitably get back-burnered, or ill alternative heavy reading of one or two and cycle every few days etc. Some days I’ll read like an issue or two each, it really just depends. 😂📚

I'm currently working my way through the spider-gedon half of the spider-verse omni i haven't had much energy for reading the last few weeks as work has been pure chaos.
But my tbr pule has grown so much recently.

Man, this is such a great idea! With there being so many comic channels on here, being able to think of an original idea must be extremely difficult, so props to you for doing so!
I'm currently reading Incredible Hulk vol. 3 by Peter David, Young Avengers by Heinberg and Chung and Wolverine omnibus vol. 2. As well as Acts of Vengeance: Spider-Man and the X-Men trade and One Piece 3-in-1 vol. 3. Like you, I try to juggle as many books as possible because because my TBR pile is crazy but it's so hard! I'm going to go back to reading no more than 3 at a time once I get through that lot.😅

I'm only halfway through it but so far, all of the characters are really well written and fleshed out and the first couple of arcs are compelling. Also the artwork by Jim Cheung is so good (although he doesn't do every issue). I think you'll enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this type of video, I like how it makes us feel connected as we can compare what we are reading. Personally I like to limit myself to 3 or 4 books at one time. Currently reading: Thor by Walter Simonson Omnibus, Ultimate Spider-Man Omnibus 1, The Nice House on the Lake Deluxe edition, Absolute Swamp Thing by Wein & Wrightson and Paul Levitz 75 Years of DC Comics (that's 5 haha). Planning on reareading Batman by Loeb & Sale Omnibus next. Also, recently finished Batman Gothic by Grant Morrison which I think you might enjoy, early Bat tale with a literary feel I think you'd appreciate😉

I really enjoy what I’ve read of that Simonson Thor run, hope to get the omnibus reprint while it’s still in print. I think that’s coming in the next month or two.
And I’ve read Batman Gothic actually! Definitely a fun little book 🦇🦇🦇
Bruh I could never be reading so many omni’s at once haha. Brain would be all over the place. Definitely my focus is one. Maybe two at times.
But yo, I’m loving seeing you enjoy more Peter David titles. He’s a a great writer.

Need to finish Oz Omnibus , Infinity read for a 2nd time, 90's Marvel 1sts, Guardian Of The Galaxy Solo Classics (really enjoy early Thanos stories just got done with The Last Ronin : Lost Years 👍

It's just like the real novels as far as storytelling (which is dark unlike the original movie more like Return To Oz) Skottie Young art is SUPERB 👍🔥🔥👍
Like Multiple Man. Never really got into Irn Fist Miles stories are pretty cool. Short stories are hard to get into. It is different but a lot of people like the big arc Not a big Fraction fan. Good review

Valiant - Harbinger Wars Compendium (Josh Dysart)
Valiant - Armor Hunters Deluxe Edition (Robert Venditti)
Valiant - Rai Deluxe Edition 1 (Matt Kindt)
I have yet to read any Valiant books but have wanted to check them out! Do you know, are these good places to start Valiant stuff? I know very little about that publisher
@@TheComicBookReport as a more gentle starting point I (strongly) recommend starting with Robert Venditti’s deluxe edition 1 which was the start of the Valiant relaunch in 2012. If you don’t want a deluxe edition then get the 5 issue trade.
Also recommend Josh Dysart’s Harbinger deluxe edition 1 which is Valiant’s version of mutants (but better).
Valiant produced some phenomenal material from 2012 to 2018 which blows DC and Marvel away (Jeff Lemire on Bloodshot, Matt Kindt on Rai and lots more. DMG bought the company in 2018 and the books tanked hard, steer well clear of that 2019 to 2023 (apart from Dan Abnett on Rai).
Valiant have a publishing deal with Alien now and things are picking up but still not yet to the 2012-18 standards.
Hey I got a question. I’ve been gifted some comics over the years but now I’m starting to get into them, I was wondering for comings like JMS The Amazing Spider Man do you have to get omnibus version or is there paperback or hardback copies for each issue I can collect?
You can find paperbacks of the run I used to have the ultimate collections or most of them, there were 5 volumes and I believe they’re long out of print. Also certain story arcs got hardcovers as well you can try to track down, The Other comes to mind.
Omnibuses for JMS are nice because you can get the whole run in 2 volumes. Vol 2 is getting a reprint later this year, although I believe the volume one is also out of print

For Thor: I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read of Fraction, Simonson, and Aaron’s runs though I’ve heard great things about JMS as well.
Deadpool:
For me I really liked Daniel Ways run and Cable and Deadpool
