What about his other two violin concertos (as well as his three short pieces "Legend", "Romance", and "Abendstimmung")?

The score scan is too blurry in IMSLP... if someone can provide a clearer copy, I'll do it

      @@SisselOnline Thanks.
      C. Sinding's Suite im alten Stil (1886/87) is relatively famous (and has been recorded several times), but is his late work Suite für Violine Solo (1918) available as well? (Regretfully, his violin sonatas are less appealing and impressive.)

@@imangry4073 Probably? I cannot say so sure as the uni life is hellish and my job is pretty much also enjoyable, too enjoyable that I put much time on that

love the composer but read the description, not so good...
I enjoy the key of A major and i don't get why in the late romantic era not many pieces were written in A major

It is a convenient tonality for violin. A lot of strings are open, d as subdominant, a as tonic, e as dominant.
It is easy to note that a lot of violin concertos are written in g-moll, d-moll or D-dur and A-dur or a-moll.

@@МаркТурцынский It is true, but the question itself is already, why not in A Major XD
