I just watched your Finland vs. Soviets battle report and Im very glad that you made this full army showcase of the finns. I've been looking to start a Finnish army myself so this has given me a lot of inspiration. Can't wait for the winter war themed army!
I think the Finnish army are my favourite, they are fun to play and are great on the battlefield… I do need to get my winter Finns completed, but holding out to see what 3rd party figures are available to bolster the army. Just need Suomi SMG's (just seen they are mixed with Suomi round shrouds and the squared angled PPSh) then they be perfect. I own about 16 rifles that the Finns used during the Winter and Continuation war 3 US contract M-91's Mosin Nagants 2 New England Westinghouse and a Remington, probably my crown jewels of my collection. The Finns do have some nasty rules like the advance and then go to ambush. They do look good
@@theministryofminiatures If you want to see my other hobby look up Great War Association or Newville Pennsylvania WW I reenactment, on UA-cam. we have 2 events a year on our land and trench system. You see anything marked Russian Legion or Legion Russe that is my unit, been doing that since 2011.
Huge thanks, I love the army, but did take a while to paint. I use second in command app, Italian and Axis, Finnish army, Continuation war, BA-20… option to replace machine gun for flamethrower… thought it might be different and offer some anti-tank options against Soviet armour!
Agh, sorry thought you were asking on the battle report…. The flamethrower tank is on warlords webite as OT-130, flamethrower tank, it doesn’t actually show in the Italy and Axis book under Finnish, but has the sane hull as T26, so likely a soviet captured tank…. Which is in the Generic Finnish re-enforced platoon. Hope this helps!?
It was the BA 20 I meant actually my mistake .I have not heard of the second in command app tbh I will have to have a look :) What is the new cost of the Flame version?
Looks fantastic. Which colors did you use for the infantry uniforms? I have a big Finn army to paint and I can’t find the right paint for the uniforms.
Huge thanks, i will need to see if I can find the correct paints, but i think it was: Vallejo light grey fir the jacket Medium sea grey for trousers Necromancer cloak for boots Green grey for helmets 50:50 dark tone/water wash Then highlight original colour with light dry brush of ivory to finish off If I can find my notes I will confirm, but pretty sure they were the colours!

I can also run my Sissi SMG as Jääkäri SMG squad, but will be looking out for some alternatives for my winter Finns to have some variety.
Great paint job fella ! Was wondering what the flame thrower vehicle armoured car is as I can’t see the option in the Easy army list.
