She would have been a natural to play the mother of Alexis on Dynasty. She would ( if she’d lived) been the right age. She would have been phenomenal! As for those Nolan Miller clothes, she was after all, the original shoulder pad girl. I always thought Nolan drew on the glamour of Joan in the 1940’s with some of his designs. Of course he did dress Joan and many of her contemporaries. He understood how to dress a woman to her best advantage. I can’t believe it’s 47 years since she died. All her films hold up well, and have stood the test of time. RIP Joan, gone, but never forgotten. You have new fans, who weren’t even born when you were alive. Thanks to channels like this on UA-cam.
