Abhijeet argument that mid section of R73 was missing... Is lame as R77 mid section was also busted. Bhinandan had his radar switched off... And with no situational awareness... Without Helmet mounted sight... How vould he shoot down any aircraft....

yeah you claimed to hear all conversation between ATC and abhinanadan, somebody even claiming the use of words like "nandu come back" (LoL) but they forget the epic words "R73 selected" ....sounds funny but then pakistan was always shy of admitting its casualties espec when it came to India . they still claim victory in all wars between the two nations.

For about a week around the air combat, this dude was THE NATIONAL ICON of Pakistan because he went on an Indian News Channel run by Rahul Kanwal and said that the wreckage was actually of the Mig 21 whereas Kanwal (known for his silver foot in mouth) was insisting that the wreckage being shown was that of an F-16 . Turned out the wreckage was actually of the same Mig 21 Wng. Cmdr. Abhinandan was flying as in those days there was no continuous footage of the entire wreckage.
@whatever04 My point is that while many people on social media initially condemned him to being a Congressi actually he's not. And he was right about the wreckage as being from the Mig 21. Yeah, and of course the Pakistanis were hailing him as the next Gandhi for saying the truth in the face of virulent Indian trolls who were more convinced that the wreckage was of the F-16 than their own fathers.
I am a Plain Citizen but have always eradicated problem from the Root specially if it involved threat to self family or prestige from Neighbours or Outsiders. My Response on threats are very early N Seriously Disproportionate to the Problem like pouring a bucket of water to douse a Lighted Match Stick alongwith drenching the Human Holding it.

had it been a Sumki falling in J&K as claimed by DJ LIeSPR gaffura then your stooges in kashmir would have gone ballistic posting pics of this crash but sadly no such evidence has come apart from the crash pics of the helo. this helo was incidently about 100 kms from the skirmish site and was a result of fratricide. the multiple parachutes seen at two locations were from mig 21 and f16B.....

I often wonder why Indian satellites could not pick up the F16 wreckage on the Pakistani side. Could India not have obtained such an image from friendly countries? That would be a clincher, would'nt it?
@Sridhar, it is not that easy, reality is different from what you see in movies or read in books. At the best resolution India has the crash site will most likely appear as a small smudge. The first thing being - the satellite has to be in the vicinity.

Since 84606 ws a two seater in ds is on records ..they awarded onky only pilot opposite to 84606. What happened to the other guy..i think 84606 ws blown up by abhinandan dat day. The main issue not addressed on US side is: were the F16s used against India?
USA is silent on this subject. So, quoting an "inside source" and saying F16 inventory shows no change is not good enough. If US acknowledges that F16 were used, it would then have to take action against Pakistan, something it would not like to do given the fact that it depends on Pakistan for talks with Taliban.
The Pentagon or the USAF did not confirm it.

Explain how Abhinandan's missile was found at crash site of Mig21. And by all professional accounts the seeker of aam does not survive a successful hit.

'Clear Circumstantial Evidence' sounds a lot like 'Alternate Facts'.
Since wreckage fell on the Pakistani side, Indian experts or analysts can only talk of circumstantial evidence which can not be distorted to sound like facts. But too many of these go to show that Indian claim is strong.

Pakistan showed four Head seeker of missile of Abhinandan's Jet all were intact. where are head seekers/radar of AAMRAM fired by F-16, while IAF showed parts of AAMRAM. By the way, If radar image shows formation of F-16, Where were the Migs (atleast 8 made interception, why only one or two in image, Mirages and SU -30s also not in image ) so not going well with Photoshop radar images.. !

Yes, only experienced pilots are allowed to fly Mig21. And Su 30mki pilots are usually young because it's twin seater and that makes it a good learning platform.

Remember these two SU 30 pilots IAF claimed were killed in road accident? These were the two who came off the two seater and the wreckage fell into the Indian side of LOC! Read the print article he ia talking about . The pics of the downed engine are given . A Mig 21 engine is also provided for comparison . The engine is clearly that of a Mig 21. However , everything else Iyer said is correct : 2 parachutes , self detonated missile etc
