Thanks for another insightful watch episode which is like no other on UA-cam, over the past 18 shows I have seen so many watches that I never knew existed. In my opinion this is one of the best watch reviews on UA-cam keep up the great work IDGuy !!!!
18 bloody shows?? You're the legend, Marcus... I find the pieces just as inspiring honestly. There's so much we can take away from what others enjoy wearing. And thank you for sticking with me all this time...
The vintage seamaster 300 is one of my all time Grail watches. I love your comment about "No Warts on the side with the new ones. " I totally agree!" "It's like putting a bloody moustache on the Mona Lisa!"
I've owned the Seamaster for about 7 months (I'm guessing) and the charm of the watch is always there. It's quite amazing how it still has such an effect on me. Maybe it's the symmetry, the quirks... but it really is exceptional. The 300 is a great aspiration to have, Stephen. It took me 3 years to finally snag one and the love has never left ;)
Another fantastic show. Love the variety out there and that everyone has something to bring to the table. Kind of like a virtual Red Bar I suppose. I just missed the first hour or less as I had to get my hike in with the dying of the light. Then I just laid on my parents' couch and enjoyed the show with father in front of the fireplace. I'd be remiss if I didn't wish ID Guy a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Just remember, you only turn 21 once so enjoy it.
Don't worry about it Curtis ;) And that is correct, hit the big 27. Also bought myself something pretty special to celebrate... I hope you're all well at home!
Thank you Meghan (better late than never to reply, right?) The Tribe and I love having you. Your support and banter is infectious. I hope the doc has given you the green light to get yourself back into action again. Nothing beats running on those wide open roads. Keep enjoying yourself out there!
I love watching this show. I think I can provide for a couple of nice pics for you from my current personal collection that you don’t see much. I need to send you a couple of pics for next show. Keep up the great work! Cheered
IDGuy so sorry forgot to wish 🙏 you a Happy 27th Birthday 🎉 but Meghan had me on strict instructions that I couldn't say anything until midnight 🕛 and I had fallen asleep like Cinderella by then, we love ❤️ you, love everything you do and your a good friend to our entire family so I trust that you had a wonderful relaxing birthday 🎈 which is what you needed most Lots Of Love 😍 Jacinta
Thank you immensely, Jacinta! The weekend was amazing. Any day where I can get some time off is a blessing honestly. I really hope you're all having a blast in La la land (looks like you put your sis through her paces over the weekend) ;) Please send my love to everyone and continue enjoying yourselves while I freeze my butt off!
I endured wearing at least 6 Rolex, but sold them all and absolutely loving my IWC XVI Pilot’s/Aquatimer 3548 collection. As you said, they “speak to me” and I love to glance at the time all day. So industrial and Teutonic, they never get old. Supremely comfortable as well. I could never get the fit just right on ANY Rolex. So yes, I ENDURED wearing a Rolex for the status but that’s about it.
Sorry, I had to bail on the chat before the blue dial Sky Dweller came up. My contact at my Rolex AD (where I just got my 114060) who's the President and COO, and who travels to Rolex yearly told me that of all the Rolex watches she sells in her four ADs, the blue dial Sky Dweller is the absolute hardest to get... Followed by the Pepsi, Batman, Hulk and Daytona in that order! Yes, If I could get the blue dial version at retail, I'd sell my two tone.
Lol Had a hd28 re-imagined in my hands almost bought it to ease the times we’re living in. Amazing guitar but so is my Taylor 714 (cedar). Martin cannot compete with Taylor’s neck. Decided to get a Fishman Loudbox performer instead. I can play backing tracks and if I ever get a band together it will perform. Just made more sense. You should consider the Hd28 over the 28. No contest for me. Keep on jamming and talking watches brother. Really like the channel.

I have the same all silver Speedy. I was surprised to see it because I haven’t seen too many other examples of the all silver, stacked subdial version. Mine is from 1999.
That Moser tourbillion is stunning!!!
I can't get enough of the piece either... the epitome of a dress watch on steroids ;)
