Yea boy my team!!! Thanks for the shout out and the cred. I used a couple different movesets.(i did try equake as well but then changed it to crunch due to it costing a little less energy). Leaned the most with icy win and crunch. Feriligator is such a pain in the behind though however there are ways around it. This team got me plenty of success.
Jonkus I'll be honest: I don't watch your videos for the gameplay; I just enjoy your commentary and personality. I think you're very entertaining and funny, which is why your series with Lily, where you can just be yourself, is my favorite.
I played your licki, primeape, ape Team this morning. Lovely. 2:3, 2:3, 0:5, 2:3, 3:2. Its ridicoulus. I lost with licki near every lead. Safeswitch. No matter what monkey i used. The oppenent had always the right answer. This game is so f...time wasting. Lost over 100 elo. Season just started and again i think, why do i play this nonsense. And the best think: I change the Order in the Team and wanted to try a,b,a instead of a,b,b. Ape in the lead. First game. First fight. Charme. Its so anoying....
Tbh aurorus (powder snow, weather ball, meteor beam) also does surprisingly well as a good corebreaker in the ul. Paired it up with amphraos (volt switch trailblaze and power gem) and chesnaught (vine whip, frenzy plant, superpower). I ended up having 2 5-0s and went from rank 15 to rank 19. If anyone gives it a try lmk how it went!
This is true, ive been using my aurorus lately in the UL and its been doing extremely well for me, its pretty tanky and the meteor beam does some nasty damage. About 40% of time, players see Aurorus come out and top left so fast since most are running something that is completely core broken to it in the back 😂 i paired mine with a Tapu Koko(Volt Switch, Natures Madness, Thunderbolt) And Venusaur(Vine Whip, Frenzy Plant, Sludge Bomb)
Talon is tough but since a lot of talons are running double flying movesets the matchup is manageable for Avalugg and with the amount of Gators currently in the Meta less people then ever before are running Talon Skeldridge. Been seeing a lot of Typlosions though. Plus avalugs bulk makes things interesting. Skeldridge in the back is pretty challenging. I think i ran into it twice and lost both times.
Been using my rank 1 Avalugg with body slam and icy wind, i want to switch the moveset however it's stuck with mirror coat until i finally get more charged tms
I really want a ultra league primeape but its so damn expensive, 400,000 stardust, 249 candy, 182 candy XL, a elite charged TM and a elite fast charged tm since i work sundays and can never play the com days is insane
The lags been sooo bad and the 1 turn bring it has costed me many games. I’ve gotten 1 turn bring in many times when I’m on my last Pokemon where I should’ve gotten 0 turn and win.
My most enjoyable team in the ultra league is… Golisopod 15/15/13 Shadow Claw Aerial Ace Liquidation Excadrill 15/15/13 Mud Slap Rock Slide Drill Run Goodra 15/15/12 Dragon Breath Thunder Punch Draco Meteor
They both struggle in the current meta although regular avalugg may perform better this season with the Ice Fang buff, Hisuan was usually the overall better performer but then Necrozma came along for a season and took it out the meta then the next season they nerfed Rock Slide. It's been rough for the table tops
Hey buddy, I watch nearly all your vids and I know the lag is frustrating and debuff odds too, but spending an entire battle complaining is really just annoying. No offense intended, but it'd be much better to just get the "housekeeping" out of the way early, say "niantic fix your game" and just explain the gameplay. Complaining you're the only person catching debuffs is not entertaining.
Hi, I'm Spanish, and I'm the one from the second fight... AdonayMiranda15 that fight if it weren't for Niantic's coverage you would have lost it very clearly... I think it's not the ideal fight to put in these recommendation videos... 👌 anyway... greetings

GG pal. I’ll be playing avalugg leads differently in future 😂

something like Talon or Skeledirge lead would completely sweep this team, wouldn't it?

That's funny, I have exactly a 12-15-15 lucky primape that I powered up before the com day for UL and had to use elite TMS when rage fist came out
Im loving the lore of you having an arch nemesis that is also a watcher 😂

I had rly good luck with shadow cradily in UL along with shadow typhlosion

Would you recommend avalanch or icy wind?
This team workec well 16-9, thanks.
Could you do a UL team with Melmetal?
Is avalugg or hisuian avalugg better for master league

Shadow ampharos is great in this meta
So uh, talonflame
Not so nice stuff.
