humans have probably been making jewelry for a very long time. its amazing to think how many of the techniques used today have been honed over many thousands of years.

The price goes up when you add the makers fee and since this item was handmade, you can expect to pay an additional 30% to even 50% of it's value. I would say this chain would sold at a reasonable price for about $45,000 to $53,000. This chain does look great. Reminds me of the UM turnover chain.

Stack Smasher Where did you get that price from tho? I mean I don’t want to sound rude or anything just wondering if that’s the actual price of the chain. I work as a goldsmith and if I made that thing I would put a much higher price on that chain. 2168.9g of gold alone would with the current gold price cost 125 363,4 dollars. Then there is the time you spend making it, that is rather hard for me to guess though because I have never made a cuban chain this big but I would say to make this takes around maybe 9 hours. That would, where I work atleast, cost around 1080 dollars. Then I also would want to make some profit of my work wich would mean that I would probably almost double the price. I mean maybe I would not double it because it already cost so much but I would definitely make sure to get a couple thousand dollars of profit off that chain. So I would guess that chain is worth maybe 140k, depending on how much the jeweler wants to profit off of it.
Jorim Goebel Which is at like $24 per gram. 24 x 2,000 would be $48,000 just in scrap, say he will charge $10,000 for his labor work $60,000 would be a more exact price.
That chain looks real nice, and probably well balanced too. It’s WAY too big for my tastes, but gorgeous. Instead of people window shopping and hating, dream big, work hard, and get nice things you can afford in the process. Relax, you only live once. The most I spent on a chain is $3800, so far. I doubt I’d ever spend more than that on a piece in the future. But, for those making a lot more money and willing to spend it, enjoy yourself. I remember being a kid and couldn’t afford any gold chains at all.

Its only $60K so not really... doctors make anywhere from $250-$400K
Stack Smasher Actually I just realized that I calculated that price with 18kt gold instead of 10kt gold. So it is cheaper than that.
Jorim Goebel this chain is only 10k
Jorim Goebel Which is at like $24 per gram.
24 x 2,000 would be $48,000 just in scrap, say he will charge $10,000 for his labor work $60,000 would be a more exact price.

funny stuff b
Youre corny as shit
That chain looks real nice, and probably well balanced too. It’s WAY too big for my tastes, but gorgeous. Instead of people window shopping and hating, dream big, work hard, and get nice things you can afford in the process. Relax, you only live once. The most I spent on a chain is $3800, so far. I doubt I’d ever spend more than that on a piece in the future. But, for those making a lot more money and willing to spend it, enjoy yourself. I remember being a kid and couldn’t afford any gold chains at all.
lol the juice wrld playing in the background
My dad was jewelry designer too when I born & growing up, knowing he makes some badass jewelry. He gave me all of his jewelry equipment before he came home with Jesus Christ.. I would like it, if there’s any tip from you about making jewelry.
