I enjoyed the overall mood and feel of this piece. The editing was pretty simple but effective. It seemed like you just decided to go with hard cuts throughout. A lot of people might think that’s “easy” but it’s actually similar to music. Many can learn to play the piano but not everyone is creative enough to compose the notes together to make the initial song. 😊

I often use hard cuts, and understand what you mean about getting the flow right in terms of music similarity. I feel as if you can match the aesthetic of the actual song to the media as well that helps with hard cutting too. I only use IMovie as well, so my editing is always simple x.x Dunno how to mask yet that well.
