If you've been anywhere on Drag Race social media lately, you've probably heard about the...dumpster fire (?) that is Drag Race España Season 3. It's hard to think about a season of Drag Race in recent memory that's been this bad (except RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under 1, of course). From shoddy favoritism to unfair treatment, España 3 will go down in herstory as one of the worst ever.
In this video, we'll discuss what went wrong. I'll be talking about the legacies of Drag Race España Season 1 and Season 2 and then analyze how Drag Race España 3 hasn't lived up to the precedent that the first two seasons set. To illustrate my points, I'll take you through some judging and production flaws concerning queens such as Clover Bish, Pitita, and Kelly Roller that set this season up to fail.
This video is less so a rant, but more so a lesson that can help this franchise find its footing again so that we all, the viewers, the queens, etc., can enjoy this franchise like we once did.
