I have an old PowerMac G4 running Mac OS9 which I use for video editing, and I thought it might be fun to do some retro cgi stuff too, so I installed Cinema4D. But I struggled a little with the modeling aspect, so this has been very helpful, thankyou!

Sure, why not. It depends on how well you know C4D, I guess. If you're a total beginner, there might be things that you find difficult to translate to R21. A lot has changed since R9, but something like that is definitely doable in R21 as well. If you have any problems, I have uploaded a lot of other architectural tutorials I recorded using R18.
