That Daniele Marrabello guitar is a miracle, incredibly beautiful the sound, rich, deep, ... etc. , and it suits this piece of music wonderfully but of course in the hands of this young master!!! Stunningly beautiful performance!
This is exactly how I would play it but I don't..... Allkiddin' aside, congratulations on this ultimate performance of this VERY difficult sonata. You had me on the top of my ears for every little note, Bravo!
As I know, the other version which is Segovia version omit some notes of chords and change some melody and harmony because Segovia think they don’t suite to classical guitar idiom (at that time or in Segovia opinion). May be I’m wrong, I’m not sure. You should listen the segovia version and you will sense the difference.
This is a great performance of the original version. I have played Segovia's version. It is so ingrained in my appreciation for how this Sonata should sound that it is difficult to make a judgment on this version. Segovia worked very closely with Ponce on the compositions he wrote, mainly dedicated to Segovia. Bianco does a wonderful interpretation of this piece, but I miss Segovia's rubatos. I am going to listen to this version more closely.
@@franciscoburgos5773 I agree. I really appreciate the old world sound of Segovia. However modern players like Mr Bianco are amazing and have an unbelievable technique and mastery of the instrument
It’s great to listen to the original version of Ponce’s Sonata Romantica. This recording brings the truly composer's ideas, not Segovia’s ideas. Great choice, Gabriel. The original versions need to be played more.

I agree totally. The sound is very clear and beautiful, dense, nice sustain, and perfectly balanced.
Bravo! Well done! Sublime!

El instrumento , la interpretación , la obra escogida, todo magnífico . Extraordinario .
One of my favorite guitar pieces of all time ❤, thank you for the upload
Un grand bravo !
I love all the Sonatas from Ponce! It’s like the Mexican Bach for guitar
Thank you for your comment. I will have to buy some of their music. 😊
I have an album! Thanks again.
Curioso.
👏👏👏On aurait aimé savoir ce que Gabriel a pensé de cette guitare …
Brilliant
Amazing. What is the difference between the original and other version?

@ thanks. I guess you are right. Segovia omitted a small part in capriccio diabolico by tedesco also
