I had the privilege to meet one of his friends who showed me some of his work. He was such an amazing artist and glad to be inspired by his works. I saw a seahawks Russell Wilson he airbrushed on a man cave chair busting out of it. RIP and May God have you in his Glory for you were a part of his inspiring creativity!
I guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
Like most, Mike was my influence to give airbrushing a go, and he still his that influence and will always be my GOAT. The OG of true fire(for those who don’t know “true fire” is a realistic interpretation of his view of fire without it having to be realism but at the same time his fire does look real. Ask those who called 911 to report a helicopter he had painted was on fire and about to “crash” land in a parking lot lol I had the privilege to talk to mike a few times in the phone phone, text, email, never got to be lucky to be in his presence.followed his work since the Osborne skelebrity Family he painted on Jacks Beamer on Rides tv show, I didn’t start to airbrush til late 2018. But from the get go I seen him as a celebrity jus like Brad Pitt. Honestly I’d much rather had met Mike in person than ANY movie star/athlete/or any “famous” person. To be able to go from paintin somethin as chaotic as fire, to paintin wildlife you would never think it was the same artist bc his style is exactly that “his style” he could go from a “sketch” type artwork to realism on a dime. His use of color is wild, in great way. He wasn’t afraid of color at all. He never did anything traditional color wise unless requested or he jus wanted to experiment with colors. One of my favs of his is the “Hellhound” he took a pitbull, and painted it with purple highlights and features, AND fire and it all went together smoothly. And he has a lot more wild color combos out there that is just jaw dropping. He will always be missed not just as artist but as a friend. I’ll end my comment by namin off my top 5 favorites. -BY FAR,My absolute fav if his, is the “Knights Templar” bike. The owner wanted a “dark” type of theme so he turned knights in to skeleknights. No way to describe it! U just have to look it up and pay attention to the story it tells! He did several Trans Am fire chicken hoods. Except he turned them into these bad add Phoenix/Eagles. Also done a couple of dragons as well. -Fire Rooster -Hellhound -Johnny Depps Merc w/ toxic green fire, skull, wings. It’s amazing -Wicked One(his OG design) -Aviator Skulls Ok well that was more than 5 and I could name off another 20 off the top of my head bc all his artwork I love!
Does any one else see what I see. Look from about the 15 minute mark to the 16 minute. They skips how he did the top of the flame. And it looks like he skips one lear. Just saying.
