That's good to hear. I'm using a 2017 iPad Pro 10.5" in this demo and it still performs well. Just screen recording takes the CPU over the edge even at the higher buffer settings. When I tested on the iPhone 14, it was tearing along -- no issues. BTW, the dev has stated that there is room for CPU optimization so I expect we'll see even better performance in the not-too-distant future.
Hi, if by noise you mean the audio crackling, it’s neither of the reasons you put forward. Rather, it’s because my iPad isn’t powerful enough to run intensive audio applications while simultaneously screen recording. I hope I can update to a more powerful device in the future. And, as I mentioned towards the end of the video, the buffering problem only occurs while screen recording. Hope this helps. 😊
I am very concerned about latency, and also accuracy. Instead of muting, the dry signal from the guitar, it would be nice to hear it panned in the left ear, and the guitar sent in the right ear. I’m pretty nervous about purchasing.
Hi @bernieburnalot, There's nothing to be nervous about -- it's a free beta. Try it for yourself and see what you think. Also, the dry guitar you hear is ambient spillover from the room coming through my vocal mic but I'll def keep that in mind as a useful tip for future vids. Thanks :) EDIT: I might add, if MG3 wasn't accurate or if the latency was an issue I wouldn't be using it and certainly not singing its praises. I'm mostly using the desktop version but I think the port to iOS/iPadOS is an interesting development so I'm bringing it to you guys!
I loaded MG3 on my M1 iPad Pro running 18.2. Also using on iPhone 15 pro max 18.2.1. No issues.

Is the noise related to midi data being sent, or due to the animoog synth you’re controlling? Very cool tho!
