  • Optical Genome Mapping (OGM) is a single technique capable of detecting a large variety of structural variations and is currently being compared with the “gold-standard” techniques of cytogenetic analysis.
    In Part 2 of this Webinar, we will discuss about OGM as a possible next generation cytogenomic tool. To do this, we will explore the latest research studies that have used this technique and also look at an exciting future direction for OGM. In the end, we will reflect on whether optical genome mapping is ready for the clinic. We hope this video is informative (especially for Medical Genomics students learning about Genomic Methodologies).
