It seems like there's not a million moving parts, there's just lots of content for each thing. That's awesome. It's like the bizzarro world version of Mage Knight. Whereas that one has a hundred tiny systems with their own parts and rules, this has a few robust systems with loads of content. MK you start playing and see where the game takes you, and GH you start playing and see where you can take the game.
Sealed envelopes look dope. Well, I mean, everything looks dope. Sad I missed it on Kickstarter but sounds like picking up retail no experience is lost out on. Very excited to snag a copy, great job!
Isaac, have you seen how EGG has been doing inserts and their boxes, they come with a slightly raised bit so that once pieces are punched you can get a more snug fit of things.
I just saw your preview (overview) on Meeples Vs Peoples, it looks like a classic. Don't forget your late pledge backers who just missed out on the Kickstarter by a few days . ... particularly the ones that live in Europe (Madrid, Spain to be precise :P ) !! it looks like a real labour of love this game, I really am happy I pre-ordered.
Great video! Seeing all the content inside really gets me excited! I noticed the map was aligned to the top left corner without the border of it showing. Plans for an expansion map in the works? XD
Hi Isaac, we are just opening and starting our game next week. We've been sorting our pieces and learning so far and the Town records and envelopes look enticing. BUT... Every time you say something can be unlocked "when the rulebook say"s, do you mean to say "when the campaign/scenario book says"?maybe we haven't read far enough into the rulebook, but I was expecting a surprise about when to open things.
It's a legacy-style game, so you play through it and what you did, is done forever. They are adding some stuff on BGG that will help preserve the game board and whatnot if you want to replay it without buying a second copy. But you gotta consider that this game has NINETY FIVE scenarios. I understand the reluctance to buy games like Time Stories that are only playable for literally one game, but this ain't that.
I love the fact that there are no monster minis it allows the game to be highly affordable and to have a lot more variety than most of these kinds of games. It was one of the things that attracted me to it in the first place.
I'd rather have a game with 40+ monsters than have a game with the same 6 baddies over and over. I want a game, not a box of toys. Ever consider that you can just buy miniatures yourself and use them if you want? That's what miniatures gaming was for decades. Fucking Games Workshop has made people think that if you don't have the most recent official certified mold, you can't play the game.
Wow. Just phenomenal. Can't wait to get this to the table and playing through with our group.

Looks like the stellar Design we hoped for when backing it. :)

looks great! I just preordered (don't usually preorder anything). How easy would it be to add custom content/scenarios?
Thank you! Pumped.
Good god - did you consider a main set and expansions? So much stuff!

O..O That's a big box.
If Ill buy this at retail, will I get everything? Or 40% of this content is KS excusive, like with some projects?
The KS and Retail versions of the game are the same. You get everything in that box if you buy at retail.
Is this game replayable? Or when you are trough thats it?

Hello
There is a horrible warble high pitch audio in the background. And, no miniatures? Blech.
No monster minis I mean. Just standees. Blech...
Blech? Really? The game cost $79 and has more content than 10 of most other games and you're complaining because there's not even more. What a wank.

$79? where? I am complaining that the monsters are so 2 dimensional. I want depth in my games.
