- Marti Pellow (being introduced by Sir Terry Wogan and Gaby Roslin) performing I've Been Around The World, the second single from his debut solo album Smile, on the BBC's annual charity appeal Children In Need on 16 November 2001. RIP Sir Terry Wogan, 31 January 2016
Fantastic channel. Well done! We really enjoyed it.
+Delightful Travellers Thank you! :)
I meet him whilst I was going around the world.
Charisma for days.. what a beautiful man, inside and out.
Campbell says i get the words for this song its a good one! You are like me no self control but i am older and wiser now lol
Yes, I’ve Been Around The World was on Marti’s Smile album (released on 4 June 2001) and it was also released as a single on 19 November 2001 (different from the album version). There was also a promo released around the time of the album release with an extra verse in it (my personal favourite), which is the same as the VH1 Live Session version on my UA-cam channel. Marti also did a brilliant version of the song on his Mysterious UK Tour this time last year. 🙂
GoodnightGirl1 then how come I can't find this version which I assume is the single version anywhere online or on here even
@@mattyboywalker9094 This is a bit faster than the album or single version
@@mattyboywalker9094 It's on Vimeo.
@@carolinecreese5254 Correct about the album version, wrong about the single version.
Can I ask ? Are there two versions of this song ? The original being very very slow. But this was the version I remember hearing on TV and radio. Was.this released as a single ? I can't find this version on any of his CDs ?
Yes it was released as a single it fell out of my cupboard this morning and it’s why I came here to see
@@traceymcinnes5800 so how come its impossible to find the single version anywhere
