Part 1: • NYC Subway: Summer on ...
This is the second and final part showing the IRT Pelham Line in the summer of 2015.
This part is filmed later in the evening as the sun is setting. It begins at Westchester Square - East Tremont Avenue station (where a party is going on nearby).
From the north end of the station one can get spectacular views on the flyover and the access tracks to the Westchester Yard. This is where 6 trains sleep at night.
The second half of the film is shot at Middletown Road in the neighborhood of Pelham Bay; one station closer to the terminal at Pelham Bay Park. The sun has already set, and you can see some 6 train action in the beautiful warm summer evening light.
