I love how much I can relate to this video. I've been working on a 1994 b2600 in Australia which is badged as a ford courier. Those plastic pieces behind the doors were such a pain in the ass.
I live in New Zealand and have a 1993 Ford Courier 2.2L XLT Super Cab that I’m slowly doing up and it’s pretty easy to work on compared to most modern vehicles and mines sitting on 248,000k’s which is low for a 29 year old. How’s yours coming along do you still have it?
@@LoneWolf-sz8bo yeah I've still got it. I painted it blue a few years ago but that paint is now stuffed and needs redoing again. It's got 360 thousand k's on it so the motor is pretty tired, has a lot of rocker tick. The plan is to drop a V6 Commodore Ecotec in it, possibly with a supercharger in top.
Subscribed because I have an 86 and I’m looking forward to watch the progress of your truck! The bumper made a huge difference, I think I will do the same
Remove the 5 nuts on the back side of the trim, and then pull it off. The trim piece is on there pretty tight, so you might have to wiggle it around before it lets go.
@@AbnormalGarage thank you for your response I did pull it a little bit but got afraid to break it cause is really hard to find a new one don't even know how to look for it.
There's a plastic cap on each wiper, pop that off and there will be a nut underneath it. Un-thread the nut and you should be able to pull the wipers off.
It's currently being used as a daily driver to get around in the snow. Hopefully we'll have a chance to start working on it again here soon once the weather gets better!
It’ll be back soon! We just finished up the interior swap on it, and now I’m saving up for some more parts for it. I figured it was time to start working on Luke’s truck anyway since we introduced it awhile ago. 👍
Keep it coming. Love that you are showing love to the Mazda b2000 series.

Hey I'm looking into those same LED headlights, are they any good? I'm tired of my old dim lights
They're a huge improvement compared to the OEM ones
A true Pimp will keep the truck California Brown.
Hello guys great videos I just got a b2200 91 any pages you recommend me to buy parts for it thanks in advance
Not really that I know of. We mostly find our stuff on either Amazon or eBay.
@@AbnormalGarage How do you remove the black covers from the sides?
Why did you spray over the MAZDA emblem!? D:
My B2000's grille is beige, any suggestions for that?
did you sand it down or just paint over and primer over it ?
We sanded it
The bumpers and grille for 1986-89 trucks were dark grey (with light grey headlight bezels), not black. But nice transformation regardless.

Cool video
What did you use to sand everything?
We used scotch brite pads to scuff everything up.
How did u remove the wipers ?

🤙
What year is the truck
1986
You did not “restore” the trim, you covered it in paint. Please label the video correctly. The results are excellent though.
should have just removed the side emblems..
Where is the explorer?
