Great reaction, guys. Working my way through your video catalog during your extended absence (praying for your family). I am so glad you have reintroduced me to Demon Hunter. I bought Triptych in 2005, and thought it was kind of meh, but a welcome novelty of Christian hard rock. But since listening to your reactions I have thoroughly enjoyed both War and Peace, and I'm sure I'll move to Outlive next after hearing Raining Down.
Just watched my first video and loved it. Would love to see you guys break down some Oh, Sleeper songs absolutely love their lyrical content. I would like to suggest you The Finisher by Oh Sleeper
happy to see this channel grow. It is a great way to open minds to those that may not like metal due to the stereotypes of non Christian music. Demon hunter is great all round. Check out Rapture by the band hurt. I believe you will like it. Hurt has some of the best lyrics written out of many bands.
The next song up, "The End" that you guys played for a few seconds, is honestly one of my favorites. Lyrically it is a highlight for me, talking about us dying to ourselves and Christ taking over. Make sure you give it a full listen!
Man, I've always wanted to get into getting vinyls. I don't think I ever got to hear something from vinyl before. My parents did have a big old one in the trailer we lived in when I was a little kid in the 90's. But it didn't have a needle, and I'm not sure that we had any records.
Really enjoy and appreciate the videos. I think it is important to discern the meaning behind the music we listen to as followers of Christ. Keep the videos coming. Chritain metal really started to grow around 2005 peaked around 2010-2012 and has been on the decline. I really enjoyed era.

Big demon hunter fan here. From when I was a young teen in my youth group this band has meant so much to me. As a metal fan they were there to give me that christian metal influence. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Lesser Gods off of the War album.
I really appreciate what you two do here. I'm an atheist personally, and i'd like to say that nothing is going to change that but I don't know the future. With that said, I think you two would dig the band Close Your Eyes. All of the songs from their first two albums with their original singer are fantastic, but I recommend Song for the Broken, Arms Raised, and Heavy Hearts (keep listening even after you think it's ended). There's very few bands that give me goosebumps from their music and these guys achieve that. They're on my list with Ozzy Osbourne, Parkway Drive, and Jinjer where there's so much passion and energy flowing through the music that I instantly get goosebumps.
As an artist and a poet my mind works on a more expansive perspective. I agree 💯 with Scott Gillis. You can pick ANY of Demon Hunter's music and be blessed by it. Short testimony, it wasn't until I got locked up that I started focusing on God/Jesus Christ as my refuge. I was heading down a dark path and being locked up was an eye opening experience. Which is why I really love this song. It speaks to me and gives me the same hope I feel when I am reading my Bible. Shabbat Shalom.

AWESOME! More DH! Raining Down is nowhere near one of their best songs, but it's decent. Also, fun fact, their vocalist Ryan Clark wrote this song back in 2010, but for some reason, didn't release it until 2017. It's funny you say the song reminded you of In Flames, Demon Hunter is open about them being one of their influences! Demon Hunter even commented on some of my videos a few times, so they're pretty active with their fans. That's a pretty fancy looking Outlive vinyl! Anyways, nice reaction! You should react to DH songs like Artificial Light, Cross To Bear, Lead Us Home, Close Enough, More Than Bones, & Recuse Myself.

This song is much easier to listen to than ABR - (all that screaming makes me anxious. Good lyrics, though.) Robert Beard - LOL! I missed the live, but as always...great to watch. I noticed in the chat feed that someone recommended Apocolyptica - I'm Not Jesus. COREY TAYLOR from SN leads. I just wanted to 'second' that suggestion. Always enjoy you guys and the interpretations and messages. Sincerely, Wordy Girl ☺

Please react to a hip hop song by the rapper Hopsin! The song is "Ill Mind of Hopsin 7". As is the case with a lot of hip hop songs, this song contains a bit of cussing. But I'd love to hear your thoughts on the lyrics. The song is basically the artist speaking to God and questioning whether or not He is real. I'd really appreciate hearing you address it from a theological point of view. I love the channel and please keep giving us these awesome reactions!

The main figure is this woman (www.mad-tourbooking.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/ringworm_Dates_web.jpg), from the cover of Ringworm's album "Snake Church", but the thing is.... in my collage, I gave her a headdress which includes the horns from a different set of cover art for Demon Hunter's "Outlive" (assets.blabbermouth.net.s3.amazonaws.com/media/demonhunteroutlive2.jpg) and I also painted the bottom half of this Demon Hunter logo onto her face (pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/776166652291317761/qf6jW2VI.jpg). You need to take a look at reacting to all of Silent Planet songs especially Panic Room. You guys are doing a great service to helping us understand songs a whole lot better. Thank you!! With Love & Shalom!!
The kid seems almost like Slash would as a teen. Very calm and mellow.
Gonna have to add Demon Hunter to my Spotify list
Rob I’m waiting 👍🏻
Funny Gage mentioned how In Flames has a similar sound, apparently In Flames are pretty big fans of Demon Hunter and drew some inspiration from them.
We are going to Orlando Florida next week from Birmingham Alabama and would love to visit your church ... what is the name of it?
Thank you guys for the awesome videos! if i may make a request, there is a Christian metal band from Norway called Extol, and their album, Undecieved is my favorite Christian album out there! any song off that album would make for a great video i think! Keep up the great work! Cheers from Texas!
Please, do one of the Mastodon or Gojira song :-)
Would love to hear your reaction and thoughts of the Demon Hunter song “The Tide Began to Rise”. It’s such a solemn song by them.
The Hands That Bled by Darkness Divided
Training For Utopia was the band Ryan Clark was in before Demon Hunter. They where way heavier. His vocals where amazing on those albums.
Cross to Bear is an amazing song
Please do Demon Hunters "Peace" its honesly such a beautiful song and I would love to hear your breakdown of it! - love ❤
Ps: You should also do "circe" by Ghost. Or really any Ghost song. 😂
React to *Demon Hunter - i will fail you* please
That was the first Demon Hunter song I got to hear (it was a random suggestion on youtube) and I was instantly hooked.
@@JohnJohnson-fo5vl That's one of the best songs. Another that is one of my fav. Song from Demon Hunter is *One Step Behind* i hope you like it, and i'm sorry for my english
@@JohnJohnson-fo5vl Same here, one of the rare occasions where the YT algorithm was actually on point.
Keep up the great work, perhaps by reacting to Into the Fire by Asking Alexandria if you haven't yet.
Another great one would be Living Sacrifice (one of the first Christian Death Metal Bands). Something like Rules of Engagement would be cool.
Deliverance song Slay the Wicked
Pastor Rob & Gauge, please react to: Strung Out - Rebellion of the Snakes.
Please react to Evanescence - Lies, its a very good song that has some very specific christian under tones about jesus
Please react to Avenged Sevenfold - The Stage (song)
Very In Flames vibe
Beards are king🤨 soft song for them☺️humble thoughts😞we are all suffering as a whole😨how can you eat while others starve are yeh heartless 💔 this is our awake
What about "Atreyu" ?
Prison sex by TOOL! would love to hear your perspective on it!
Make sure to watch the Music Video.
p.s: thanks for bringing Deamon hunter to my attention, they are the best!
I have a metal back tattoo, and it's a collage of artwork from different bands.
The song that started playing after "Raining Down" finished is called "The End" and it's one of my favourite Demon Hunter songs. IT'S JUST SO CATCHY!
This might get some hate but you should do breaking benjamins: Psycho or Tourniquette
I like Breaking Benjamin. They sometimes get a little poppy but at the same time they are pretty dark.
@@plantdesigns7889 the last album finally got dark!!
