Great overview and tutorial. I thank you sir. Im currently using VST's that require ableton so I had to upgrade from 9 to 12 because I haven't used Ableton since circa 2014. But thanks to you I'm up to speed.
@@DMNDBEATZ for a vertical zoom it would be option scroll instead of command. this as far as i know only works for induvidual tracks though instead of the whole project
Yeah i used reason for ages but got fed up with it, tried switching over to ableton but i hate it. I just cant get used to its interface. feels claustrofobic and i hate working in it.
Good overview. Constructive feedback - you didn't have "impressive example" set up to show. The examples were mostly bad tbh. Or sometimes you skipped giving an example cause you didn't have one. Also, your talking too fast, maybe seemed like you sped up how you spoke. But reality is slower and clearer is better. And with examples that make people think "oh, wow - thats a cool tip!". Sorry to be negative. Overall, a lot of useful info in a (not so) short space. I felt like - make the video 10 mins longer and make it less ADHD. And make your examples genuinely impressive. I hope my comment is useful. Your video was, and thank you for that.

This is probably the most daunting task I have ever attempted to learn lol
Dude I never realized how useful the "z" key is for zooming in and out quickly. Thanks!
The goat for sure
The z is cool but I can’t figure out how to zoom the whole session vertically. I’m on the 12 demo. 11 from what I can remember I was able to do this

No explanation given about how you just made the timeline larger to view...rules the rest out.
