- Polk Audio Roundup. The speakers used are from the Signature Series, Elite series, Rti series and Monitor Speakers. I forgot to mention I used the left and right balance knob when testing the RTI and Elite. Listening to each individual. The sound was very similar overall.

I have es60 and the bass is coming to to strong. I like you advice how I can fix the level.
My av receiver Is Sony da1800es
Right now the speakers are 4 inches from the wall, the crossover is set on 80hz and the subwoofer is set on 0hz. THX
I own Polk s60 and rti a9 towers and the 60s dig deeper 👌

I've got the S55 fro Left and Right and the S35, along with the HT12 sub. Do you think the s35 is a good center in general? I was debating about finding something better for teh center but I need the slimline form factor. I will try setting the crossover to 120 on my Marantz NR1711 to see if the dialog is a bit cleaner.
It's just ok. Definitely set the crossover high for ckeaner sound

Love my RTIs. Use A3s for. L/R and A1 Series for Surround. Also have Polk Centre channel and Polk HT10 sub. Now just need 2 Polk height speakers. All Driven by Denon AVR
I have the Polk S55 been very happy. Maybe when i see a good deal on s60 elites I might upgrade.
I have owned several Polk model's over the years. Currently using RTi series in a HT. Find them to be a great all rounder, for both music and movies. I can concur their treble will have too much bite on the top end when mated with the wrong amplification. Like you, I also found they work best with components that are warm to neutral. Paired with anything that is real sunny they can become spitty. With the newer models this is less so, but I still strongly advise anyone looking to invest in a pair, that you do not skimp out on the amp or receiver. It could be hash city otherwise.

Sir, can you help me? I listen to tons of music, and will buy some Polk Tower Speakers for my Denon AVR-1912. I'm getting Polk cause I can pick them up at Best Buy.... I'm Amazon illiterate and want to go to the store itself. Is splurging on the Signature Elite ES60 worthed over Monitor 70 Series 2, or is The Elite ES50 a fine speaker? I already own 2 TX330 OT Polk Speakers, and I like them. Would like 4 towers, though. Any help is fine. Thanks.
I have the 5.0 Polk S60e, s20e and s30e. They were the EU version of the s60 back then and they look exactly the same as the new Elite series. I'm wondering if they sound the same with the US version and how they sound compared to the elite series but i cannot find comparisons anywhere in the web. Maybe i had the Elite ones from the future :D
