Hey DVZN Media, the link for the app mentioned near the end of the video isn't in the description. But overall, grate video I may have to give all of the things mentioned a try when I get the chance. Thank you!
I'm too nervous about taking my pc apart for thermal paste so I tried custom fan curves which actually lowered my temps from high 70s to low 70s and high 60s so thank you for making this video.
Thank you so much for the help. All I had to do was customize my own fan curve. I really appreciate how detailed you are, can tell how much you enjoy your work. Have a wonderful day
Bro this video is awesome. I downloaded MSI afterburner and found that my GPU fans weren't set to go to 100% speed until my card reached 90C. Saved my ass for sure.
This reply thread is really helpful. As I said on my comment, I'm really worried if it hits 50 or above, as my old RTX 2060 clonked out after 2 months. Great to know that I can push it a little further and no worry about temps so much. I WILL be keeping my eye on the Degress though. Great video DVZN, cleared my worries up a bit!
One other thing I do is limit my frame rate with Nvidia Inspector or RivaTuner. If you’re not into online competitive gaming, capping your framerate helps to conserve GPU power by not wasting overused frames, thereby lower your temp.
ive done all these including the thermal paste but i havent tried lowering the slider. Im currently using a 1060 because i cant afford a new gpu and shes def on her last legs so im trying everything to preserve its life while i can. I capped the temps sat 80 and turned all my fans on performance mode to keep everything as cool as possible. Thanks for the advice man, i appreciate what you do
What I learned about this UA-camr: -He loves to walk his dog -He likes to lower his gpu temps -He loves to walk his dog Oh and I forgot, he also loves to walk his dog
Easy tip for everybody. No need to open or change anything in your pc. When opening a game, limit the fps to 60 or lower instead of letting your pc go up to 100 and more fps. If you don't have a 144 hertz monitor you don't need those fps, it's like having lost fps in exchange of making your gpu work more. Now if you do have a 144 hertz monitor you have to decide, what do you prefer. 144 fps or having lower temps on your gpu? Your choice. Another way of doing this is by activating v-sync or if the game doesn't let you limit fps. Go to your nvidia panel or amd panel and in 3d settings, choose the application you want to limit is framerate. There are lots of videos on how to do that if you don't know how.
Bruh this is amazing.I have MSI afterburner and i didn't understand shit about that curve.I can easily understand and used it because u explained it so well.Keep up the great work
Thank you so much! I was having an issue with the gpu fans not kicking on and the MSI Afterburner fixed it immediately! Sitting at comfortable temps now :)
Good tips. I like to use a lot of fans to keep lots of air moving through the case. Have 6x120mm and 1x140mm on the side blowing in. Yes, it does get dirty faster that way but its quiet and never comes close to heating up.
Good job man thx! My 2080 super was getting around 78c while playing and 56c at idling. It use to idle at 38ish. So I did the afterburner auto you fan and it brought it down by 10 degrees. Thanks man , I am your new sub 👍🏻

If you can do all these things like adding new thermal paste, maybe an exhaust fan as well, I know some pc's do not have them which is a little strange, you should get a lot lower temps. Also, go into your pc's control panel and make some adjustments there in the global settings and you should be straight.
My gpu was going to yellow temps on halo infinite medium settings, other games ran fine, so I adjusted my fan curves to max out at 75, so it doesn't go past 75°c. I will test it out later today to see what temps I get. Thanks for this video :)

Take the side panel off until you get more / better fans inside the case , Bad airflow can also be a problem if changing the thermal paste didn't help.

This is the video I been looking for. I been changing the thermal paste once every year. Just like changing your engine and transmission oil on the car. I do wonder why its so high because my old GPU's used to max out around 80-85. I guess it really depends on the manufacturer. I have the AMD's own version of the RX580 . Yea im having a problem were my pc crashes and sometimes reboots while gaming once I hit 60°C. I have to put fans at 70% and sometimes 99% depending on the game
I have a question so basically my Radeon RX580 4GB won't stop hitting 85c nothing seems to help I've tried using custom curve but it just doesn't work any suggestions? and is 85c safe for my gpu
i got a RTX 3080, it sits at 170F, not much i can do about it, as far as i know its normal and im at a mid tower. with liquid cooling (not on my gpu, liquid is only for processor and mother) 170 is its normal though under any gaming load, idle when the fans turn off it sits at 120. Well not idle idle, but not gaming. Thinking about adding a liquid cool for the GPU what do you think? I could just pop the side panel off an place a box fan next to it if i get worried enough tho.
Hi, I tried doing the second step, however, I do not see a tab labeled Fan in the settings, nor can I change the fan settings in the main interface. I have an NVidia, might it be because of that? In Firestorm, power and fan speed is unchange-able as well...

Love the content my man. Keep up the awesome work.
Yea im having a problem were my pc crashes and sometimes reboots while gaming once I hit 60°C. I have to put fans at 70% and sometimes 99% depending on the game
I have a question so basically my Radeon RX580 4GB won't stop hitting 85c nothing seems to help I've tried using custom curve but it just doesn't work any suggestions? and is 85c safe for my gpu
i fw the vibez mad chill totally subbing
i got a RTX 3080, it sits at 170F, not much i can do about it, as far as i know its normal and im at a mid tower. with liquid cooling (not on my gpu, liquid is only for processor and mother) 170 is its normal though under any gaming load, idle when the fans turn off it sits at 120. Well not idle idle, but not gaming. Thinking about adding a liquid cool for the GPU what do you think? I could just pop the side panel off an place a box fan next to it if i get worried enough tho.
congratulations for the complete video. Thank you
thank god for this video. Quick, easy and right to the point. helped my gpu tremendously. Instant sub from me.
Glad it helped! Appreciate the sub!
Hi, I tried doing the second step, however, I do not see a tab labeled Fan in the settings, nor can I change the fan settings in the main interface. I have an NVidia, might it be because of that? In Firestorm, power and fan speed is unchange-able as well...
Now I know why my Asus 2080 has such a massive Heat Sink xddd
Great Vid by the way!
Glad you liked it!
